It's a South Shoot this time.
Any Northers interested in an off-month north shoot?
Or is this taboo to suggest something that might draw mid-CO folks away from the 'official' shoot?
I don't have a problem with it, If You hold on the 13th, I might be able to show up.
i'll pitch in and bring some food
just let me know
Brats, hotdogs, Burgers, You know Man food.
I'll be out of school for the summer, so barring something else coming up, I'm there.
Brian
ok ill bring hot dogs and buns
probably some other stuff but atleast that
and some sodas
Well since Beer is not allowed I guess I will be forced to bring some beer brats.
Yay I'm not the FNG anymore!
Heisenberg's principle dictates that I won't know till the Friday before wether or not I'll be working that day (or the nights before and after) such that I may or may not make it.
I am going to bring my trap machine since more and more people are bringing shotguns. I will bring my sporting clay gun and we can have some fun with trap.
hunterco, I've been interested in trying to shoot moving targets, if i brought some shells would you let me use your trap gun? (if yes, what kind should I get?)
You can shoot it all you want. As far as shells 12ga 2-3/4" it will not shoot 3" mags. Just buy the cheapest shells you can find. You can go to wally world and get 100 rnds of federal or winchester for $15. Sportsman wharehouse also has cheap shells for clays. I usually buy 7-1/2 shot but it don't matter to me what you get. You can buy single 25 rnd boxes also for around $4.Quote:

BRAT's??? Did someone say BRAT's? Karl.
OK, go ahead and laugh. This will be my first shoot with you guys. Virgin jokes are bubbling to get to the surface. I can hear them. Anyway, I plan to make this one and will be bringing the 30 M1 carbine I inherited. I want to see if it still works. I don't have a lot of ammo for it for that reason. If it shoots, then I'll be interested in more ammo. Oops, off-topic. Also, I recently got a Butler Creek folder for my 10/22, some magazines, and a loader. Got plenty of ammo for that one. So, hope to see you guys soon.

The first shoot that Evan attended, He'd just bought the 10/22 like a night or two before, didn't have a case for it. So, He brought it in the box. I was a little surprised that the receipt wasn't still taped to it.
so,who is going to bring a M44 still in the wrap to a shoot ?
Ahhh, You, maybe?
Or I could wrap one of mine up if You want.

Anybody going to start out from the MCDonalds in Castle Rock? Still be ready to roll out of there by 8:30?
I roll past there at around that time  One of the meeting spots.
I or we will be waiting. How do we find each other? I KNOW you don't look like Festus!
serious question
does anyone thats coming happen to have a chrono, and would you be willing to bring it. i want to chrono some rounds that i have been shooting.
im experimenting with different rounds for my rifle since it seems to be shooting 100% now. i cant reload so im stuck with off the shelf stuff, but would like to know what they are doing.
its gettin more accurate everytime i shoot it.
here pretty soon maybe i can hunt flies [postal]
i just want to find a different scope, mine is too much for what i do
here was my experience yesturday

Can I come play?
Probably bring my .17 if I can find some ammo locally...Probably take the scope off my .223 and put it on that. Hmmm....Anyone know where I can get a nice scope (preferablly silver) for a .17 that is dead after 100 yards? Gotta keep up the bling!
Thanks! Hope to see everyone on the 20th (if I can find a scope)
I just picked up an Armory USA AK-47 that I'd love to bring. I also have a Mosin that I still haven't shot (no it's not in the bag ). I'd bring that, too.
