Trying for a NASCAR tuck series bid are they....
I'm sorry, but that thing is just bad-ass. It's like everything that was cool about el-caminos and its not a Chevy....BONUS!
Looks like a sooped up Brat.
I just can't imagine tossing wood and paint buckets into the back of a BMW.
My rule is: Never trust a man who wears a bow tie and never trust a man who drives an El Camino! Weirdos! You've seen them!
couple of thoughts...
first off I doubt that BMW did this ... this thing reeks of shade tree mechanic mods.

love how the person riding shotgun is gritting their teeth and gripping the harness.
The pics were taken down under. Holden was stuck with a bunch of Pontiac body parts and made a special edition. There are at least 3-4 of them that have received the Pontiac badging down there. :) In another year I will be looking for my last Pontiac. A G8-GT or GXP
It appears to me to be an aftermarket tuner playing with something on the track. First pic shows what appears to be an intercooler in the lower opening. So I guess turbo power. Has an aftermarket lower body kit. And the fact it has Lic plates instead of manufacture plates and the typical camoflauge automakers use around the track tells me they are working on horsepower and handling. rear may be cutoff for a new carbon fiber rear hatch/aerodynamic package.
No more than I can imagine piling pallets, engine blocks, transmissions and paint buckets into a:

I've taken all the posts in this thread into consideration, and come to the conclusion that cars with fake pick up beds on them are absolutely stupid. That Escalade is stupid too.
If I was going to buy a German pickup... this would be it.
