www.brownells.com or www.sinclairintl.com and have it overnighted...
yeah I was trying to avoid that, but time was running out so I paid the piper.Quote:

Kind of crappy sitting on a high dollar part waiting for some damn magazines to arrive.

also need one of those fancy magazines for the single round loading during the slow fire portion.
EDIT: He he, I get it, that was funny.
Nice.. Marlin, thanks for capturing the post. He tried to hide the blunder with an edit..
20 round mags are the norm for high power. For service rifle, every mag you use has to look just like a GI 20 or 30 round mag or you get tossed in match rifle division. I cant remember if the BobSled is legal or not these days.Quote:

Are the 20's the "stadard" magazine?
Have to check that out.
Yup. 20's downloaded to 2 and 8.
If you are stuck without the right gear, PM me and I can get some to you before Saturdays match.
Thanks, but I don't have a match yet.Quote:

My other magazines are for the 243 WSSM rounds and I don't think they would work since the followers look different. I wanted to shoot the 243 in HP but the magazines only hold 7 max and I am unsure if you could load a 3 and 7 instead of a 2 and 8. Also, that 243 WSSM kicks pretty good and costs $$ too, so it is not the best choice for shooting 80 rounds.
I still need to free float the barrel and get a set of good sights for the Stag too.
Just what I needed another expensive hobby!
Between dirtbikes and HP shooting I am gonna be broke.
I took an intro class to HP shooting at the Boulder Rifle Club a few weeks ago, it was pretty fun.
Oh yeah, one more question, for the service rifle division does the rifle have to be "stock" or can you have a different butt stock and/or pistol grip?
I have this one:

Your lefty upper wont be legal in service rifle.
Match rifles shoot 5 and 5, so the max of 7 in a mag isnt a big deal.
Try looking around at www.nationalmatch.us for tons of good info on high power shooting.
thanks!
