Bows kept me out of drugs and other juvenile distractions (illegal ones anyways), and my hours spent hanging out in bow shops got me a job in college at an archery shop. I was VP of the local range, shooting for first PSE (Pieces Scattered Everywhere) and later Hoyt on their National Staffs. Shot 6-7 shoots a month, every ASA/IBO qualifier and world shoot possible. Placed 32nd at National Field Championships in '06, couldn't make it to the other team trials. Now shooting just for fun, when I want (not spare minute of every day as needed to be competitive).
And yes....I shoot a MATHEWS!!!!
