That is awesome. Nice work.
His wifes, that's who his ass belongs to. [Beer]
Wives/mom's own the world. A silent dictator! Sometimes not so silent! [Tooth]
Personally would have gone for an original 1911A1 for the guns but that skull and bandana are fuckin awesome.
Here's my red/white/blue ink, got a sleeve in the works with Old Glory in it too.

The work on the flag is fookin' tits bro!! [Beer]
Ryan at Redsky Tattoo in Castle Rock did it. I've seen a lot of the guys work from there, and Ryan, Collin and the owner Jim all do top notch work. If you go there, tell Ryan that I sent you their way (Sean).
nice tat
Awesome ink on both!
Nice guys, not bad.[Beer]
do those hurt?
It tickles. Some places it tickles more than others!
I'm not of the mindset like some, who actually say (or claim rather), that tattoos feel good. I have five, and not one of them felt good to get. On the other hand, they aren't unbearable IMO. The more sensitive parts of your person are obviously going to hurt worse than others.
What the hell is that, your frickin' thigh? Holy crap Batman. [Weight]
Thanks [Beer]
Compared to some of my other ones, it really just kinda tickled. I've got ink on some of the easiest places (thick skin, lots of muscle behind it), and on 3 out of the 4 places generally considered the worst.... and I'd put that one at 3 out of 10. I wouldn't even call the feeling from getting a tattoo 'pain'... its more like mild—severe discomfort.
I don't think they feel good, per say, but the feeling is definitely addictive. My understanding is that your brain blocks out the pain with endorphins, and that those chemicals are what feels good. After the first 5 min or so, I really don't mind the feeling. Except my spine, that one just plain sucked.
Do they hurt? It all depends on a lot of things. I have between 175 & 200 hours of work on me. A lot depends on the artist and if they are heavy or soft handed. Where the tattoo is.at on the body. And if you can.relax and find a happy lil place in your mind.
I have had some tickle and have had some where I wanted to puke. And the more work.you get the less your body gives off endorfines [sp]
On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the most painful, how would you rate the pain of a tattoo on the bottom of your foot?
Top of.my foot was a 6.5 i would say. And I don't think the bottom of your foot would hold in very well. It's kinda weird skin.
I think I remember a comment about Jim being pretty tatted up. So my response about it tickling was a joke responding to his joke. I have a bit of work done too. Not 175-200 hours, but around 30 hours so far.
The worst place for me was on my side in the area between the ribs and hip, I was like "WTF! am I being branded?"
skinny or fat it does not make a difference. The pain if any is based on how close to nerve endings the design is. the same design could be placed on your arm and foot. seeing how there are more nerve endings in you feet than bicep you notice it more. the fingers hurt, toes not to bad. most of mine i just snoozed or told jokes. you guys need to cowgirl up and deal with it. Slam a coke or pepsi down while getting inked and you will sleep walk through it.
The toughest, biggest, guys hit the dirt like my ex on roofies:0
Jim, was kidding when he asked if it hurt. he is covered in ink. and he is a tattoo artist.
HBAR,thanks but you know I'm retired.
Yeah usually I just chew gum and watch a movie or something, chat with my tattoo artist, but when he's tattooing, he doesn't usually talk a whole lot. I'll try the Coke thing, I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi. If my small claims court thing turns out well next week, I might have a few extra bucks to afford a session :)
I always like to ask people if tattoos hurt, but my cover is blown once I take my coat or long sleeved shirt off.

Yeah, especially to jock-type guys with a barbed wire arm band that doesn't even go all the way around their arm. (I have a half-back piece which will wrap around my ribcage, shoulder done too, inside right bicep, and right thigh.) It's a start. I just need the funds and time to continue filling up my right side.
I have a fun one. Planning more, just need some cash.

C'mon guys. Lots of talk. Let's see the ink!
