If/When the time comes, my family of 4 grabs 5 bags. . . there's guns, ammo, some first aid stuff, some medicine, water filters, a few MREs, cash and clothing....

Thats one nice thing about the 5.7x28 rnd. Not many people own one. So I go to a Basspro, Cabela's or other store, every one else graps .223, 7.62x39, 9mm, 40 sw, 45 acp, Etc Etc. Secret service does protection detail. There job is not to kill people. The effective use and employment of a carbine in that regard is out to at most 50m. The shop has an office that I store my preps and keep the temp at 65 degrees year round. I would unload my enclosed trailer which is full of work items (tools stay) and fill it with preps. Honestly, I could fit everything I own in my truck and trailer except furniture. It would be nice to have two trailers. One filled with "IT" material and a work trailer. If anyone wants to give away a free enclosed trailer let me know :). If I'm leaving my home the only place I would go is to my sister's house. Family first.

AR, 870, xdm 9mm. All the ammo I have, and anything I can "acquire" on my way out of town. Probably a good 308 bolt, and few wheel guns, another shotty or two, lots of ammo.
My plan has always been to hole up in a low-rise or mid-rise building in DTC. Shut down the elevators, block off the stair wells. I'll bring what food I can, and can probably survive a while on vending machines on the various floors.
I'd bring the AR, the G19 and of course the 870 :)
