Makes me wonder why the CDC would bring this up now? What with Sat being the beginning of the end and all.
Does the CDC know something we don't? Is this their way of "letting the cat outta the bag?"
Nice!
I saw this and delayed too long in getting it posted (had to wait for my lunch hour and then I was responding to PM's). Great story.
I've just posted the proper accompanying story which goes along with this story perfectly: Zombie Thread 2: Zombie-Proof House.
And they all laughed at me whenever I mentioned zombies! Who'se laughing now?

In all reality- not to spoil the fun, but I find it hard to believe they would actually address it. The plans they put forth are good generic plans, applicable to any emergency situation. After all- the zombie thing is all made for TV.
I'm Zombied up. Course we get Hollween'ed up too but no one ever shows.
Or maybe they secretly know of something we don't? T-Virus for realz?
They are going to run a test?
Until the raptors learn to jump the fences...
Oh wait no, I get it now! The CDC is not the ones that are going to be releasing the raptors, they're just releasing the zombie-virus!
I find it funny that the CDC is using the societal hype surrounding zombies to convince people to prepare for much more realistic disaster situations.
Sure, everyone thinks they need a 1 year supply of Fruit Snacks and Poptarts to live off of while defending their house from zombies, but who ever though of storing a few gallons of water and MREs in case the power goes off? I hope peoples eyes get opened before its too late... *mmm, brains, nom, nom, nom**
That woman is about the least attractive 1st lady since- Eleanor Roosevelt, and has -0- class. The ultimate 1st Lady was Laura Bush. Reserved, smart, attractive and classy. Anybody the White House staff affectionately called "Grandma" comes in a close 2nd. Who was that? Barbara Bush.
