It's been thundering really hard and close here for an hour at least- 68th/Sheridan.
Vid ain't workin.
Been raining on and off here all afternoon, had some nice thunder here a little bit ago but it didn't last.
Was at the girlfriend's place yesterday... freakin torrential downpour, I ran outside to cover up the hay and when I got back inside literally a couple min later I was soaked to the bone.
That was crazy. My entire street looked like a river. Thunder sounded like arty from danger close. Haven't seen a stom like that for a while...

my trees were going nuts, hurricane looking winds and rain the way it was moving. my little dog was scared shitless.
I turned everything off and unplugged it thinking we were going to get hit or a serious surge but luckily that never happened.
all quiet again now!
Last night up here in the mountains I looked north and saw nothing but continuous flashes on the horizon (not much visual on the individual bolts themselves) and I swear it looked and sounded like a firefight going on in the distance. Kinda cool looking, but all this stormy weather has me bummed, I want to go camping this weekend but not sure what nature has in store.
Thanks to the night time storms this week, I am at 40+ hours of overtime already and it is only Wednesday!!!
