went way into debt today...
-
-
Pure hotness right there!
I'd rather be Cummin than Stroking!
-
I don't know man. It's just not the time to go deep in debt. But- if you're secure and can afford it - good for you pal!
-
Nice ride! Can I borrow it? ;)
-
Man I love it! Great color choice too. I want a new one so bad but my '03 is paid off and still running strong(175,xxx miles). I know I go look at a new one I'll find it sitting in my driveway the next morning.

thanks! they had maroon, silver and blue. the silver is just to common, the red was cheaper and I kept trying to convince myself to get it, but I just loved the blue to much to not go with it. and yep I know how you feel, I just went to look and I came home with it.
-
Bad ass! Now hurry up and drop one of the new stickers on that baby!
-
IF I see it around town I'm slapping a sticker on it! Are you north side or south side I need to know where to look
-
Nice Cummins! I have it's grandfather; a 93 Club cab 4x4 5speed with 275k miles and just getting broken in ; )
-
Sweet truck!!! I love what dodge did with the new trucks. Now get it deleted and tuned, you will like it a LOT more. :).
Ps. H&S performance is the way to go. Smarty is good as well, but I don't think they have anything out for the 2010-2012 dodges.

One small piece of advice as a fellow 6.7 cummins owner, these trucks like to be driven hard, especially if you leave it stock!

I got the programmer and new exhaust (minus the cat and dpf) on it today, it runs great, the stock exhaust was a royal pain to remove, I had to drop the trans. cross member. it was not fun.

my last two truck's were duramax's I figured I'd try the cummins this time around, I've always liked the growling sound of the cummins alot more than the scream of the max. I just hope it is as reliable as the max was.

I agree that the newer diesels are to quiet. My '03 cummins just turned 176,xxx...bought in '06 with only 40k on the clock!!

Nice truck! - My buddy has a mega cab as well. He had a shop in Utah extend the frame, exhaust etc and slapped a long bed on it. From bumper to bumper it is 27 foot and some change long. It is THE nicest riding truck I have ever ridden in, and I'm a Chevy guy.
-
If you want to drive up to Centennial, I can put some tint and clear bra on that bad boy for you. For a small fee of course. Nice ride.

nice

Nice! I have an '01 Cummins that has somewheres around 268,000 on the odo and is still running great! Check out www.atsdiesel.com for cool guy-go fast products!

ram
Nice truck, the only thing I don't like about the new diesels is that Damn DEF fluid, just another extra expense. You probably already know this but if that's a backup camera in your tail gate, don't forget to lock it cause those things get stolen quick and they ain't cheap.
Congrats.
-
The new cummins are the only diesel that dont use DEF. A big +1 to dodge for that one!
-
Yep, Cummins said 'Piss' on the DEF!! [LOL]
-
thats pretty beasting right there

Wow that's awesome! Even the new petes in our fleet use DEF.
-
Well the fleet model (cab and chasis) dodge do require DEF. Dont ask me why, as i am trying to figure that out myself. I would assume its some dumb EPA requirement.
I'm a Ford diesel tech, and it pissed me off when i had to take a training class for filling DEF systems [Bang]

took it out on her first towing trip through the mountains today nothing big, trailer was only 5500-6000 pounds it pulled like a dream, much smoother than my 08 gmc was, but my duramax was stronger up the hills than the cummins is. but on the downhill side the engine brake is 10 times better on the dodge than the gmc.
-
Thats odd. i've always felt that the cummins felt stronger when pullin, but the Dmax and powerstroke were much fast unloaded. Its most likely how the power comes in at different RPM's

yeah i'll wait untill its broken in better and try it again in october, but i've been going to my property 4-5 times a year for over 10 years with the pretty much the same trailer set up, and by my garmin gps the duramax was around 4 mph. faster at the top of the same hill's, and by butt gps. the dodge was easier to tame and took much less brake effort to tame going down the other side.
-
well its no Powerstroke, but that will do
