I don't wanna screw up... but can I carry at the Taste of Colorado? I have never carried in or aroud Denver and I'm not 100% sure what I can / cannot do down there. Should I error on the side of caution and leave it in the car?

I was assuming he meant concealed. Did the OP mean open carry? In Denver?
If you're CCing then I don't see a problem.

I thought the point in carrying was that one never knows when they may have need of a firearm. So if your only carrying when you feel unsafe then you should stop going to those places. Then you wouldn't need to carry at all.Quote:

On the broader personal safety point I agree with not going places where you think you need a gun. I'm also sure that public security is upped a bit for big events like this.
