I just bought a 5.56 rifle, a XCR and was looking forward to joining you for some of the shoots. But darn, you picked the same 2nd Saturday of every month that the FRIDPA group shoots! Now I'll only get half the practice I need and I've got a new Sig P226 Blackwater I also need to practice with.
BTW, is there any info on the shoots besides the dates and "bring lots of ammo"? How long do you shoot, do you bring your own targets/stands/etc., what should we bring beyond weapons and ammo? Are there stages or just open firing?
For the most part, Just an informal fireing line. As far as time goes, depends on the weather mostly. So, anywhere from a couple of hours to all day. For the most part We start around 11 and go untill whenever.
Bring what You want, If somebody has something You'd like to try, ask. You'd need to bring Your own targets and stands. During the summer months You need to bring Cheesy Brats.
I was wondering about targets. Do we need to bring frames and targets, staple guns, etc.
Yes, not much around at the spots We go.
Yes.Quote:

this is probably a good place to remind everyone to check out our rules for a club shoot:
