Stop that. I just got a new drink. [LOL][Beer][Flower]

Cool.[Flower]
Wait go for week days!! 2 for Tuesdays!! Only 1 for Wednesday, and 5 for Friday's !!! [Coffee]
I like it!!!! Then the guys with a bunch of post get to hoard the for sale section for a while. And the newbies [BooHoo]
Actually, my odds are better with this one than the contribute a woman suggestion. My feeble contribution in that area would probably result in my being whacked pretty good with the ban hammer. [Help]
Fuck the new guys. Let's show them sons of bitches. Lets be very clear, they need to sell their stuff on other sites.
Sounds fun, I'm in!
I would have little problem with the new guys but they come in here make up their own rules and then bitch when they get busted for not reading/following them.
read the forums for a week and you figure out REAL quick how shit works... if it takes you much longer than that, maybe you shouldn't be on mommy and daddy's 'puter.
Easy there ColoDogy. Down boy, Down. I have got some pretty good deals from some Newbies. But they just need to follow the guide lines!! If not then F*ck em! Ban Hammer for sure. They need to respect thier elders AKA Big Dogs!! [Coffee]With more post count / authority!
Fawk that.
I think someone should be able to hit a moving 2" target (that shoots back at you) @ 100 yards with a bunch of nuns and children as the backstop while holding a six foot long BBQ sammich above your head, with your good hand, with a .380 pocket pistol before being able to post.
Sissies.
Sigh... I'm screwed. Oh, nevermind - I forgot I'm more of a buyer than seller. Although - it is possible a newbie could never advertise anything and actually make a sale by seeing someone post they are seeking something and make arrangements for a deal. [Muaha] In the FWIW department - noobs sometimes get stood up too. As far as a couple of the other suggestions... ouch.
That's why I don't understand the animosity towards them. We should point them in the right direction when they screw up. When we get the occasional smart ass, we just have some fun and roast his ass. But to make rules that will run off potential good members, is not smart. We were all neewbs at one time or another.
colorado luckydog i wont be able to go hunting this year now i jacked up my shoulder pretty bad and will have to have surgery here soon
Not that I would want to start anything, but rumor has it from another thread that there is a member here with a significant number of posts who would have no trouble with the pants issue because he never wears any - at least that is the scuttlebutt. As to the veracity of that poster's claim... it strays too far off the topic on this thread (just commenting on the pants requirement thing). [Coffee]
Has been my experience in some case, it's somebody from another site trying to fuck over somebody here.
If they have to invest a few posts to get to post in there, they either won't run the scam or, take it somewhere else. which in both cases, is better in the long run.
What type? KC style?, Texas, NC, or Southern style?
This information is critically important. If it's NC style with vinigar and it drips in your eye... But then if it's sweet KC style (my personal fav) then you could end up with a "sweet" shot. [Tooth]
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
This is a social site for like-minded folks, not a sale site. Having the TP is justan added benefit for members here, not the intent of the site. There are plenty of firearms sales/auction sites on the internet to chose from.
The new requirement is intended to alleviate some of the problems the mods have to deal with in the TP, the bulk of which are made by new members who've just come here to sell something and now participate in the site. You couldn't imagine the number of "members" here who just came here to sell something and have never returned. This becomes ANOTHER problem for the mod staff.
You, Luckydog, participate on the site.
If prohibiting a new member from accessing the Firearms For Sale forum until they reach 15 posts is going to run off a new member then they really weren't "potential good members" at all.
15 "meaningful" posts is nothing that can't be attained in 1 hour of checking out and participating on the site. It's FAR fewer than most of our members wanted who called for this requirement.
If someone is just here to hock their wares them, personally, I would rather they move along to another site. The value of this site comes from the exchange of ideas and information, not from hocking your junk.
