Have not seen less than 50 in a pack. You can use a small canning jar to keep the unused ones in. It has worked for me but I try and use all of them in 1-2 shots.
Ok where is the best deal?
Some links a couple of threads down. http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43770
Sorbent has them at 25 cents each for the 300CC. Vac pak is 30 cents and discount is right at 30 cents since they only sell 100 CC.
Some (like sorbent) has a minimum order. Now all that said one 300 CC absorber per bag 10"X 16" how many you need?
I keep talking about a damn Mylar party. I have a bag of 50 I need to use. I need about 10 and I think TheGinsue needs about 10 or so. I also have bags.
If you want let me know. I can sell the good bag (5.5 mil food grade) for 90 cents with absorber and have a commercial sealer for use.
Bring your stuff and I will get Thomas over here and we can use them up.
my father and I, both would probably be intrested in the party idea.
I work that weekend, the one after is open
That should be good, let me double check with the old man
ok ill let you know, you got any others intrested?
im interested!!!!
OK. Like I said I have 50 absorbers. Not sure how many others will take as I only need a few. Stuff to put up in Mylar to get your feet wet. Sugar, salt, rice, pasta (Linguine and spaghetti are the best to store). Flour (5lb bag fits perfect in this size of Mylar.) Beans of all types. Start thinking of what you want to put up and we will figure it out in the next few weeks. [Coffee]
I have about half a bottle of desiccant if you can use it. You'll need to pick it up however - north denver/lakewood area.
Here is what I have:

Jerry RSVP for 2, how many oxy absorbers do you need for a 50lbs bag of rice for example?
Jerry, I had a great time learning how to seal in mylar today - thank you so much for everything.
As always, the rolls were great (even if you didn't find them up to your usual standards) - especially with the peach/strawberry preserves (yum).
The info you provided to us about the O2 absorbers and how much O2 they can absorb/how many to expect to use based off of the bag size and the type of item in the bag will be very useful.
Also nice to meet Prometheus & his father as well.
We had fun today. With turkey season apon us I guess it is time for another canning class. Good meeting Prometheus and his dad. [Beer]
