o/ all... anyone have any experience with these guys? They seem to have a decent price on PMC .223 but wanted to check with the forum before I lay down an order.

never heard of em
To bad that ammoman.com is a douche and wont refund messed up orders etc.
He screwed up one of my orders and refused to do anything about it.
Sent me ammo for 7.65 Argentine instead of 7.62x54R. He was
screaming and yelling at me on the phone.
Never again with them [Rant1][Bang][Rant2]
WOW! Didn't know that. He is not getting any of my money anymore, and I'm gonna send him email to let him know why he just lost a customer!
This was a few years ago and after I mentioned this on AR15.com and a lot of folks have had the same experiences I have.
I have been tempted a few times with the 303 British ammo that pops up
form time to time as that is difficult to find now a days but didnt want to
go through the same headache again.
aim surplus. been consistent and timely delivery on my orders.
+1 for AIM. Shipping to Colorado is a bit on the ridiculous side though.
Just got an order from palmetto state armory. With shipping , they had the best price on American eagle 223.
Haven't checked .223 recently but ive placed 4 ordered from Surplusammo.com with great success.
I keep getting good word about "Cheaperthandirt.com" I'd like some confirmation from the experts (that'd be you guys)... ya know, since that whole occupy stuff is going down, I need more ammo.
aimsurplus and sgammo.com are gtg
I just bought a zombie apocalypse load of ammo from Weideners. Came on time and nice and inexpensive.
another good clearing house for prices is:

and

SA and CS, thanks! I knew I could trust a quick response and I'll be checking that stuff out right around payday! Top 3 things one can never have too much of: Guns, ammo, sex! Got two going strong, just wish that 3rd would increase a bit more...
Aimsurplus.com are good guys to deal with even though their shipping prices can be high...
I just got an email from AR15.com that has Federal XM855 in .30 ammo cans with 420 rounds on stripper clips for $149 from Brownells. Shipping looks to be $12.95.
Thanks for the responses... I went with surplusammo and turnaround was good but they packaged it really bad - several of the 223 casings were actually dented at the neck and some of the bullets were pushed down into the casings. Box was like 53 pounds and they only wrapped it in a makeshift cardboard box... UPS wound up crushing a bunch of the ammo containers inside. Not gonna press for a return or anything, but will probably go with another supplier in the future. Seemed kind of irresponsible to package it that way - seems like a round could have gone off pretty easy from what I saw with the damage. Anyway, just wanted to pass along the experience with them.
Palmetto and aimsurplus are great. I just ordered couple cans of .308s from Aim - shipped out on the same day. Impressive!
Yeah, I'll probably go with the palmetto or aimsurplus folks next time... couple other members mentioned them in the thread - sounds like they both have a good rap.
I've been ordering from WeaponsWorld.com lately. Customer service is quick, shipping is very reasonable, and pricing is average.
cheaperthandirt.com and ammunition to go are where i have been getting my 9mm stuff lately.
