"self-entitled cry babies" best describes these folks.
Hmm I did the steel beams and 60mph winds in the Gulf of Mexico, for a few years it's not that bad, though winds didn't get over 40 too often, and the steel was more often than not much larger than automobile transmissions, I kinda liked it.
The sleeping in a cabin and killing small animals and eating them for a few days out of the year sounds like fun to me, when does it start? I can use the extra vacation days.
Maybe if they were all forced to do some manual labor it'd wake them up. I think there's plenty of work out there, it's just that it's actual work. Reminds me of when I first graduated college, couldn't find anything that went with my degree and decided to go offshore, tried to get a buddy on, he was in same boat, and his wife said he wasn't going to apply for a job that didn't require a college degree after he spent all that time and money getting one. I make 3x what he does, but his job required a degree mine doesn't, go figure.
the authorities should be taking HD photos of these people, identifying them, and in a month an officer shows up at their door and serves them with a bill that covers their share of the cost incurred to police and clean up after them.
Like Big Nick I have spent plenty of years, in all kinds of weather, wrestling iron. Some of the best days of my life, because I went home every day (well almost every day, sometimes I got to sleep in the doghouse because relief didn't show up) knowing I had accomplished something. I would happily go back to the board or brake handle if that was what I needed to do.
These occupy dip****s wouldn't last a tour in my world.
I'm really starting to like this guy. Thanks for the postings!
Bill Whittle is right on target. Thanks for posting that up.
Speaking of Occupy Denver, I wonder how those worthless entitled maggots are doing this fine morning.
I'll bet they're having a great time. I almost wish I could go down there and take some pics of them. [ROFL3][LOL][ROFL1]
That was really good. Puts the entitled snots in perspective.
Being retarded is not a choice. Being a POS is, and its been a long time coming. Why aren't there counter protests against these people?
I've done manual labor, you know how they *try* to make it so every manhole isn't a chasm for you to bend wheels in? I did that, working with a county paving crew digging manhole covers out of 120 degree asphalt, picking their heavy selves up, putting in a ring and doing that every 100-500 ft for 7 hours a day... makes you appreciate the roads we drive on that's for sure. Now I work in an office and don't have to break a sweat, but I appreciate those who do back breaking manual labor, and am not surprised they're not protesting, they're too busy working!
I love the living in a cabin for 3 1/2 days out of the year, providing for yourself, been there, done that, it's actually quite fun, and you get to hang out in the beautiful American wilderness... killing the beautiful American fauna to feed yourself and using their bones for tools, skins for blankets (or gloves if it's a cuddly little bunny) and not letting the animal's death go to waste. Good lessons to be learned there.
There are, but they're not as 'active', since they're busy contributing to society:
but you can participate online...

Sounds like the OccupyDenver crowd isn't doing so great.[Coffee]
As for current conditions, I found this traffic cam at Colfax and Speers that is pretty close to Lincoln Park. Cheers.[Beer]Quote:

I had a moment of clarity after watching that video. The truth rings clear.
My hot toddy drove by them this afternoon afterwork. She said there were about 20-30 cold-looking wrapped up bums all standing pretty close to each other, trying to stay warm. There were a couple of tents/temp structures they were also trying to stand in the lee of. They weren't holding their signs at abot 4:45pm, just standing around. [ROFL1][ROFL2][LOL][ROFL3][Muaha]
