A main bearing would seize the engine. Unless it was the idler bearing. Either way the LE would have called in a tow if you didn't have communication device with you.
False(ish)
yup, false. If it was a main bearing that thing would have been towed home.
Police escort from Woodland Park to the Springs? False!
False, the cop would have beaten you then arrested you for driving unsafe vehicle.
Idler bearing seized causing the serpentine belt to break or main bearing?
But if it was the muffler bearing he would be ok.
false, we know you only keep the cheap paracord and that stuff would have either melted or broke.
and a cop would never escort anyone any more unless you were pregnant but now they if you are already stopped they have to call an ambulance.
turn's out fan clutch assembly broke off and paracord only seemed to work ran off the battery from lake George to the springs, and by escort the officer fallowed behind me from green mountain fall's rd to manitou and it was at 11 last night i'll put pics up when i can

yikes that was your water pump pulley also lucky you made it home without trashing the engine
Happened to me once, I used a pair of panty hose. It was a cold night.:)
I was driving a 1963 bug and the radiator over flowed, bad thermostat.:)
ummm 63 bug was air cooled last time i checked
I used to work at checker auto parts, years ago, and we used to call other auto parts stores and ask for a radiator for a 63 vw bug. We would get put on hold for 10min, then the guy would get on the phone and apologise that they didn't have one. Just being a smart ass.
My Beetle spit out the #3 spark plug a few times on me. Okay, maybe it was just once.
so next time some one asks me why i'm wearing a "weird Bracelet" i'll explain that paracord is useful for everything,... including doing jobs that my mechanics should be doing at my check ups ;)
