So who's going to get some jerky tomorrow?
I guess I'll try to wander in Sat. morning. I've got a list a mile long of stuff I've just "got" to have. I'll most likely be disapointed again and have to resort to mail order for most of it. [postal]
Gearhead, last chance to change your mind is 0early hundred tomorrow morning. [poke]

pass... next time..
ill definently be there
Looking to bolster my spare parts kit, some thermolds, and some ammo.....
It'd be nice for once if there was a vendor who had some M1A parts and accessories. There was one there this last summer but they haven't been back since. I keep hoping...
I'll be there, totally expecting to be dissapointed, but who know's maby they will have something cheaper than mail order. yeah right [roll]
I'm on my way now. I need to score some ammo.
I came, I saw, I bought some ammo, I left generally disappointed.

I was disappointed, as well. No surprise there. Only saw one dealer selling SA .308. The one ammo dealer on the southeast part of the building only had Indian .308 - I'm not brave nor desperate yet enough to buy that stuff! [dead]
i was also disappointed, and left empty handed.
i did however like the guy who wanted $33 for his wilson 47d mags, i guess he really wanted to keep them, was also pretty funny when he tried to tell me that the promag usp mags were the best around, comparable to the hk factory mags [roll].
not sure if i just look stupid today, or if maybe it was early and they were testing out sales pitches.
I dont know what was worse the prices, or the parking situation. I did get a laugh at the guy trying to sell 7.62x39 at the bargain price of $5.00/ box, thats only $250.00 + tax per 1000 [roll]
Did you find me 1000 rounds of .223 for under $200? You promised me! Oh, and you got me the Cetme for $300, right?Quote:

If you'd just get out more you wouldn't miss all the fun. [poke]
I did ask!

About what time? I didn't hear anything while I was there. I did see an ambulance outside when I was leaving though.Quote:

not really. I was on the east side of the center near the overpriced surplus seller dudes when I heard the bang (I'd say it was 10:20). My first reaction was to listen - no screaming. Then checked my parts - no leaking red fluids, and carried on. Glad no-one was hurt. I'm sure if it was other than a .22 or .25 more panic would have ensued. Heard one woman say, "I don't want to be here anymore". Some folks nervously laughed, some made snide remarks, others were ready to lynch. As for me; I was ready to shop: bought a used Sig226 w/4 mags, M14-E2 stock forward grip, one HK M4 20rd mag, small Old Timer camp knife, a camo hunting shirt...and a chocolate bar. This is the 3rd ND I've encountered at gun shows (all 3 at Tanners). Unless injury occurs, I'm not gonna let it ruin my day. For the life of me, I don't remember that dealer having firearms at his booth before...
how did this happen? IIRC, all firearms need to be cleared before they enter the building and/or put on display... so WTH?
