A buddy and I are planning a camping trip and my buddies nephew is coming out with us this year. The boy is 14 and really needs some "man time" lives with a single mom and doesnt get to do to many guy things so we want to make him feel as manly as possible. My buddy was asking if he can wear a side arm OC while we are out camping.
I have no idea what the age cut off is so I told him I would do some asking. Can a 14 year old open carry while we are camping?

We will not really be in "public" we are doing some back country camping. Does that still count as public?
Technically yes, unless you are on private land and it is clearly that way. If you're in a national forest then that is considered public and I wouldn't advise letting the boy OC... Good luck and have fun! [Beer]Quote:
