just got my refunds for both my goat tags. I always draw them so now I'm wondering what gives. No I'm all bummed out because I have no hunting planned for the fall. Guess I better get to scouring the DOW page. This sucks.

got my refunds as well.
All I have is Colorado elk. But I will buy OTC antelope and deer tags for Colorado plus do a lot of pheasant and duck hunting and maybe a little goose too for dog treats!
Leftover tags go on sale July 10th. Doe leftovers go on sale July 17 for Wyoming. Plenty left in my area near Laramie. $34.00 for leftover Doe non-resident.
Area 45. Not sure about public access. I have access to private property there.
A bit off topic, but can Colorado resident hunt coyotes in Wyoming without any type of certifications or anything?
Pretty sure you have to buy a non resident small game license. When I went hog hunting in Texas, I had to buy one.
I just got my money back too. We didn't draw for area 47.
Well, I stopped in at game and fish this week and apparently my tags got messed up. There are left-over tags for my unit but for some reason my tags got refunded. Guess i will be Johhny on the spot Tuesday morning. Grrr....
I put in for elk, lope and muley...I didn't draw a thing this year in CO. I usually draw every year. Oh well, leaves me more time to hunt yotes I guess.
yes!! No hunting license is required in WY to hunt coyotes.Quote:

I'm suprised to hear about the Antelope in Wyoming, I thought as long as you applied you got your tag.
I applied for myself and my son west of Wheatland and we both recieved tags.
Where are you guys looking?
Excellent! Got on this morning and got a couple of leftover tags. I stopped into game and fish last week and it sounds like something got messed up with my original app to keep me from drawing the first time around.
Anyway, Im set for October. Tags went fast for our unit, almost 40 tags leftover were gone in less than 10 minuets.
I hunted deer with my dad as a kid in Alabama, but never with any success. Didn’t have the opportunity or desire to hunt much after that, but after moving to Colorado I’ve developed a new group of friends who are married to my wife’s friends. They all hunt, and this year I’ve decided that it’s time again. Still looking for a place to shoot birds, but I’m sure that someone in my group has a place.
Plus, antelopes are a good way to get back into big game. I always felt that hunting meant getting up early and being cold all day, and I had enough of that in the Army. Don’t have that problem with speedgoats.
