So I know there is one on Ft. Carson, Air Force Academy and Columbine in Douglas County.
Anybody been to other "Public" archery ranges or private ones were non members can pay to shoot?
Thanks!

Cherry Creek park, Aurora reservoir.
Eta: oops, these are in Aurora..
There's one in Fort Collins, though i doubt you wanna go that far.
There is one off Monarch drive just between castle pines north and highlands ranch. Don't know who it belongs to but it is in DC open space.
I go to No Limits Archery off of 70 and Monaco. It is an indoor range with a 20 yard line and a 40 yard 3D target area.
Bear Creek Archery off of 285 and Lowell as well. 20 yards, $5 to shoot I think.
Bear Creek Lake,c470 and 285 it looks very nice, not sure how long the range is,looks far but I don't know, its a nice facility,I think its 5 bucks or so for a day parks pass
Was a decent outdoor range up 285 at Windy Point. Wagon Wheel Campground I believe. Private land, owner died a few years back though. I haven't been in YEARS, so my info I'm sure is out of date.
Go spend some time with Bill Pelligrino at the Archery Hut in the Springs. Great guy, better shooter. He's been a pro & setting records since before I started (almost 25 yeards ago). Every minute you can spend listening to him is pure gold.
Checked out Columbine Archery Range today. We hiked/ran about 4miles, me 30lb pack and bow,boy had about 10lb pack. Then after we hit the area, we hiked over to the range, sighted in then hit the course.
I really like that range, clean and some good people there!
AFA archery range is blast. I like Pelligrinos too. i have the space and usually shoot my bow in the back pasture, so I havent any more recommendations.
Its a little far from you but others may be interested. There is a nice range at Lon Hagler Reservoir in Loveland. Plenty of targets with trees and barriers to make shooting fun. They also have elevated platforms to shoot from. http://bigthompsonbowhunters.org/main-page.html
There's a public archery range at Bear Creek Park in Colorado Springs (just west of the tennis courts). Not sure if its free or if you have to reserve your lanes or what.
