OK so instead of a bunch of new laws and controls, that just make people go crazy:
we need a state or states where only tree hugging, free love hippies, government supported, anti gun, liberals, and peta folks, can live in peace and harmony and need papers to leave to explore the rest of the country. Occupied by gun toting, bible grasping, meat eating, hunting, fishing, BBQing, self reliant types.

I'd prefer to call it the rocky mountain republic or republic of the west. I think California will be it's own nation in 50 years.

This thread is SO bizarre - because me and my friend were discussing exactly the same thing this past weekend. My thought was the division might come after a 2nd civil war, or some other cataclysmic event - including an economic collapse. My concern was exactly the map someone posted - that the conservative center of the country would be the middle of an "oreo cookie" and would be surrounded by left coast libtards, right coast libtards, canada, and mejico. To prevent that, we would unfortunately have to take over the left coast and fix it.
Those who chose to love in the consitutional US would have to swear an oath of allegiance to the new country and constitution. If they did not, well, time to move to libtard land ably assisted by the citizens.
Maybe I'll give a try being a fiction writer (similar to Rawles) based on this potential future? :-)

Every male is required to keep a military rifle with 2500 rounds and is part of a local guard unit. Each guard unit does 2 weeks on our borders a year. I knew that Political Science degree would come in handy.Quote:
