Hello all. I'm looking to compile a list of Colorado businesses that DO NOT support our second amendment rights for the purpose of avoiding these places. I wish to respect their rights of private ownership by not patronizing those businesses. Is there a rescource for this information? If not I would love to read here where these places are. Thanks.

Colorado Mills used to have a "no firearms" policy, not sure if they took it down or not, but I saw Batman there last week and didn't notice any signs. I know AMC down in Parker has signage that says "No firearms," can't recall any others though. I know that Bandimere Speedway has a no firearms policy, or they did a few years ago when I went there, not sure now, I haven't been in forever.

Interestingly, the "No Firearms" signs at the ticket window for the Colorado Spring Cinemark/IMAX at First & Main Town Center seem to have disappeared. I generally stopped using the shopping center at all due to their subtly posted ban but went to Iron Man 3 at the IMAX and noticed the signs were no longer present. I wonder if the company finally got the message or if it was just the local manager; I may stop by First & Main to see if they still have a general ban or not.
Yep, First and Main still prohibits firearms except when carrying to the car after purchase. Bah.

In the state of Colorado, the signage is MEANINGLESS and I have no legal obligation to obey it. My only obligation is to vacate the premises if asked to do so by management or ownership - for any circumstance.
I do also take serious offense to being labeled "unprincipled."
+1 brutal, it is in no way hypocritical, those signs are meaningless, and contradictory, if you're walking with a gun, do you really want someone to leave it in say, a bush outside, rather than on their person?
When I see the "No Firearms" signs I just laugh and walk right on in. Which is one more reason I say conceal-carry is far superior to open-carry. If it's concealed, it's concealed...period. I'm choosing to not be a victim because of some garbage policy. Now, that being said, I do my hardest to not do business at places which don't support my 2nd Amendment right.
While I support the right to carry, you're being obtuse here. You violate the property owners rights by carrying despite his/her expressed wish that you not do so on his/her property. In the state of Colorado, the sign is NOT meaningless, it is an expression of their desired conduct on their property and you DO have the same obligation to obey that as you do a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" sign at a store or restaurant. Sure, there are no criminal penalties for violating their property rights until you refuse to leave the property when asked to do so but that doesn't take away from the fact that you are violating their private property rights.Quote:
