I think Eaglefirearms.net has some lefty uppers.
Stay away from EagleFirearms.net!!!! Just take a look at the dealer and range reviews forums to find out what folks think about them..
Pete (aka LegalTransfers over at AR15.COM) at www.ar15sales.com will take care of you, give you a better price and make sure you're getting exactly what you want! Not to mention that Pete is just plain ol' good people.
...and you won't pay sales tax buying from Pete.
the price from Pete also includes shipping, the only thing is he charges 2% more if you use a credit card.
Pete charged me the same with a credit card when I ordered my RRA midlength upper. Is the 2% credit card charge something new?
Ok, ill check him out. Anyone know a good ffl for the transfer?

I also paid the fee on my order I placed the first part of April. maybe your a better customer than me. [postal]
After TRYING to deal with Eagle with no success, Pete gets all my business now. Great prices, fast shipping, and NO TAXES!

That can't be it. That was the only purchase I made with Pete, just after he started accepting credit cards. It's probably something new or it might have been worth it to not add the 2% since it was a direct ship from RRA. Don't know, but thanks for the heads-up.Quote:

i accept credit cards in my stores. they can cancel my accout for charging a fee. as far as i know that is a rule across the board and is why you dont see it at gas stations like you did 15 years ago. i wonder why so many people get away with it in the gun world.
visa is the one with the big problem with this. some schools charge a percentage for tution and will not take visa because of this.
cut and pasted from http://www.meridianmerchant.com/faq.html#FAQ10
Merchants are prohibited by card association rules from billing consumers a fee for using a credit card. This is considered surcharging. The prohibition on surcharging ensures that credit cardholders are not discriminated against at the point-of-sale. However, discounts on cash purchases are permitted. Also, surcharging is different from a situation in which particular business cases (i.e. government or schools) may warrant imposition of a convenience fee for utilization of specific alternative payment modes, such as Internet and telephone.
The card associations have found that convenience fees are a barrier to card acceptance and various requirements have been established by the card associations. The requirements vary by card association and these guidelines and best practices are based on acceptance of all card brands. A merchant that charges a Convenience Fee must ensure that the fee is:
Charged for a bona fide convenience in the form of an alternative payment channel (i.e. Internet payments, IVR payments) outside the merchant's customary payment channels
Disclosed to the Cardholder as a charge for the alternative payment channel convenience. Added only to a non face-to-face transaction
A flat or fixed amount, regardless of the value of the payment due
Applicable to all forms of payment accepted in the alternative payment channel
Disclosed prior to the completion of the transaction and the cardholder is given the opportunity to cancel
Included as a part of the total amount of the transaction. Imposing a convenience fee has been found by the card associations to impede consumer credit card payments, so be aware of the potential for changes to current policy and procedures.
i think he is tring to get back his merchant fees. mine are about $900 a month. i'm sure he is not aware that he is not allowed to do this. the last time someone tried to charge me a fee was at a gun show for ammo. i told him i knew it was unfair and if he charged me i would desputite it with his merchant account and guess what? No fee for me. if you guys really like this guy you should let him know so his account doesn't get closed. Just so you know this is not a law just part of an acceptance agreement.
I ordered right after Thanksgiving and didn't get it until mid-January.Quote:
