Starbucks tall ice coffee.
I am a green star member, so it is unlimited free refill.
I refill about 2-3 times per visit.
I would say I go there about 3times/week now.
So how many #'s ya put on so far?
Yup! My wife gets excited when summer comes around. When it's time for me to put the a/c back in the window, she reminds me that it's time to start brewing coffe and keeping it in the fridge. We go through twice as much coffee, and keep the coffee pot and an extra pitcher of coffee ready. Goes down super fast on a warm morning at the patio table![Beer]

Oh yeah, about 8 cups/day
I've never really drank coffee.. I just don't like the taste.
Never got the allure of all the fancy coffee drinks either.. load em with sugar and cover the original taste of burnt ass?
I don't understand you people! [Flower]

Don't drink the stuff, something like 550 to 750 calories per cup.
But have a friend who got hooked on it and she gained about 20 lbs over a year. Doc said pretty much just the coffee. [ROFL1]
maybe she should cut back on the ice.
O wait! No calories in Iced coffee... i don't add anything to it, just black. If you go to Starbucks or others and get the foo foo Iced drinks then yes calorie loaded. As a matter of fact I lost 14 lbs in the last six weeks.
When you said # thought you meant something else....
Excerpt from a website (livestrong) Calories
One cup of regular black coffee brewed from ground beans holds only 2 calories, and 1 fluid ounce of rich black espresso contains only 1 calorie. One teaspoon of regular instant coffee powder also carries just 2 calories. Brewing coffee from decaffeinated beans reduces the calorie count to zero, but decaffeinated coffee powder doubles the calories found in 1 teaspoon to 4. Sweeteners, flavorings and cream or milk deliver the calories in rich modern coffee drinks, some of which may yield 700 calories per serving.

No sweeteners nor syrup , but 1/2 and 1/2 does have calories.
Probably put at least 5 lbs off of it.

I used to spend a fortune when I was stationed in Japan on Georgia Iced Coffee. It was sold in vending machines in cans.
There was also a little restaurant just off base that served iced coffee in chilled brass cups. I would kill for some of that now.
You guys are getting ripped off buying fancy iced coffee drinks. Starbucks is way overpriced, not real iced coffee, and the coffee is bad to boot. Make your own coffee syrup with a Toddy Maker. I use one bag of ground coffee, fill with cold water, let sit overnight, then drain through the filter and repeat all the above. You have thicker coffee syrup without all the acids and crappy additives from Starbucks. You get about one gallon for the $11 bag of real coffee, mix it about half and half with whole milk, and a dash of water over ice....you will be hooked in 30 minutes. Rinse out the filter and put machine away for a couple of weeks till the fix is needed again. Most coffee shops server cold crappy coffee and call it iced. Not the read deal. You know it is real when 6 oz with milk and water gets you shaking a bit. I judge the mixture by the shakes.

Hmmm. I just brew regular old coffee (whatever we find at the discount dented can store) and throw it in the fridge. I brew it pretty strong. Haven't actually figured the math, but gotta be cents per cup. I don't notice anything better with the occasional Starbucks (I don't buy them, pharm reps bring them to me sometimes), but I'm just a cheap old caveman.
I bet there are more Starbucks addicts on here than care to admit.
Triple Venti Mocha please
Yeah...I say the same thing. My wife (who is a sweetheart, and has a great sense of humor) looked at me the first time and said, "Then why'd you marry a redhead?" [ROFL1] I said, my girlfriend is a blonde. She said something along the lines of "Then I guess I better get my boyfriend back..."
(At this point I'll caution against the baiting of redheaded females...from what I can tell saying what I did could be fatal in most other cases.)
I can't do iced coffee. I love good (hot) coffee, but I can't do the cold stuff. Sort of like warm beer, never understood the attraction.
Japanese vending machines and the wide variety of weird stuff you can get out of them are awesome. Ive been to Japan a few times, usually staying for about a month each time. You ever try BOSS coffee? as far as the shit you could get out of a vending machine go's it was pretty good. I would drink nearly ten a day.
No...never tried Boss. Course I was there from 80-82. I'm sure things have changed a little.
But the Georgia coffee is apparently still made by the Coca-Cola company.
And you're right about weird stuff in the Japanese vending machines...everything from beer to roasted grasshoppers (and other insects).
Yeah, something squirrely about them folks not liking java. Though the fru fru stuff the people lined up 20 cars deep in the morning for the starbucks drive through scare me even more. I mean, who would pull up in that line knowing its like a 20 min wait for their caffeinated sugar fix?
Me? I've been drinking coffee since I was 6 months old. Dad was a KC-135 crew chief and Mom was working, so Grandma watched me during the week. Light coffee would keep me awake and happy all day, and sleep like a rock all night. Problem was, my parents didn't know "the trick" and I'd go through withdraw on the weekends and not be a pleasant baby.
I'll occasionally do Starbucks...but just for regular coffee. Although, my favorite DIL did buy me a gift card to Starbucks so I could get an iced coffee fix one in a while.
When I was working patrol my favorite coffee was at 7-11. Plain, black coffee.
Anyone ever try Doz Bog? Strong coffee there, and not bad! Only thing that bugs me is I think it's Russian or some shit like that, so in the back of my mind I feel like i am supporting a communist country.
Of course it just might be the name, I have absolutely nothing (but the name)to back up my thought....[ROFL1]
