Lucille's?
is there one on that side of town?
Never heard of Lucilles. Anybody up for breakfast?
Stuck at work. I'm always looking for good buscuits & gravy though. I haven't had any that were good since my Mom passed away 3 years ago.
Funny...that's what I'm having right now. Left-over gravy from the wife's killer chicken-fried steak. Canned biscuits, though...all I've got.
Carl's Jr. ?
Sharing is caring...............
Crackherbarehole is usually pretty decent.
The Egg and I off 64th and Ward, fantastic!
IIRC it's called the Ralston Road Cafe on 58th and Ralston...it's been probably 10 years since I've been there but we were doing some work on a couple houses over there and we ended up eating the biscuits and gravy there every morning for a couple weeks. Who knows if its still good or not though.
But Cracker Barrell is always a good fallback
I haven't been there in years, but Davie's Chuckwagon in Lakewood used to have good ones, and a killer steak and eggs deal...
I think the one off colfax is closed

Carl's Jr. is ok, not great though. If you can find a Wendy's that is open for breakfast, they have ok Biscuits and gravy. The gravy is good but the biscuits are not the best. The only one I know of that is open for breakfast now is in the truck stop at 70 & Vasquez.
Egg Shell, Ralston and Olde Wads.
Believe it or not, Chick-fil-a has pretty decent B&G, unless you live an alternative lifestyle. LOL. Buy a couple of them as its only one biscuit. I'm a Cracker Barrel fan too.
Supposedly:
Nick's Cafe
777 1/2 Simms St
Golden, CO 80401
(303) 238-9670
Nick is the cook and cashier. Cash only. I've heard many people talk about this place over the years. Not much room for more than a couple people I think.
Lucille's
Dot's Diner (Boulder)
Davie's Chuck Wagon Diner
Johnson's Corner
Damn! Now I'm hungry. [Rant1] [Dinner]
I have been to Nick's before, they have great food!! By the way, taking the g/f shopping this afternoon, then going to have a lunch at Mannekin Frites in Olde Town Arvada.

If you want the BEST biscuits and gravy in Colorado you need to goto Steubens.

Steuben's? I work about a block from there. Ate lunch there one day and wasn't terribly impressed. Maybe it was the yuppie atmosphere, or maybe I was just "off" that day. May have to give it another chance. Struck me as a place where the "Obama love" was thick in the air, but that whole area around there is like that.
Also here's a pic. I knew I had one somewhere. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot..._1693946_n.jpg
The B&G at The Pancake House was pretty good. The biscuit wasn't incredibly noteworthy, but the gravy was awesome, and they'll put it on other things to (cowboy omelette, etc).
Just make sure you call ahead. The two locations I have seen tend to be pretty dang busy.
make your own it's easy
