Take the short drive to nordys In Loveland.

The Rib House on the south side of Longmont.
The Rib House is good but in my opinion pricey.
Georgia Boys BBQ
Just plan good Q.
Look it up on yelp.com
rib house BLOWS and is seriously overpriced
Nordy's is good if you are up that way. (but they can be hit or miss, one time the ribs are amazing, smoky, tasty and the next they are tasteless crap that even the rib house might not put out)
Smoking Dave's in Lyons is pretty good (and the portions are huge)
but
but
but
Georgia Boys is the shit.

2nd and Colyer in Longmont
Best BBQ around is at the Greeley Farmers market Saturday morning. Some guy comes in every week from Wyoming. Sets up and goes to cooking. It rivals the BBQ cook offs at an event like the World Pork Expo. BTW we are near Narnia.
Nordy's (but in Loveland)
Serious Texas BBQ (Loveland)
That's all I got...but I love Nordy's. I drive from Bailey just to eat at Nordy's.
I'll have to try Nordy's too Mr. IKEA. [LOL][Tooth]
Might want to try KT's BBQ at Arapahoe Road & 75th street, just east of Boulder
Georgia boys = good stuff!!!!
Oskar Blues has some okay BBQ
Rib House = overpriced and average.
On a good day I make some of the best I've ever had.
There's this place called Stubs in Austin.... #1
I have not been to the one in Boulder yet but the Moe's BBQ in Fort Collins is awesome.
Learn to cook your own and you will never be disappointed:

I didnt read the whole thread.
If you come north, dismiss Nordys. Unless you have 2 gallons of water to compensate for the salt.
Other than that, I got nothing!
The Boot Grill, by Nordys has an amazing prime rib Sammy for $12. It's a 12oz section of prime rib on a little section of bun. Great deal IMHO. Be $20 most places.
I know it's not BBQ, but don't do Nordys!
I like Nordy's but only for their lunch buffet. IMO they don't have the best BBQ but it's tasty and the value of their lunch buffet is tough to beat. They have sweet potato tots now that are yummers and their battered/fried green beans are good too. I like their ribs and they have good sauces as well.
