Not jumping on this, not trying to get a lock, but Jim, it didn't appear to me like all fun and games- RCC that was fun and games, albeit a kind of sour attempt at it considering Jim did get under my skin a bit (I know, internet and all but I thought we were a community/friends on here). It seemed more like I try to rant, which honestly, I haven't done a "Ronin Rant" in a while, and then it just felt like a few members had to jump down my throat. I won't lose sleep, but it did get a bit harsh and felt like Jim was trying to hammer me harder than most. Maybe Jim just has an abrasive sense of humor that I don't encounter very often. Maybe my skin could use a little toughening up. Maybe, and I've tried the past couple hours, tolerate the annoyance here. Those that doubt that I wouldn't make a good LEO don't understand that I've been dealing with this madness 8hrs a day for 18 months and have dealt fine until recently when it seems like I just shouldn't have to put up with this anymore. But alas, I must soldier on and gut it out. Thanks to those with the kind words and good advice (can't petition for the "no personal calls" because the boss get's them all the time and want's some form of freedom and fairness here as long as it doesn't interfere with work- which my time on this forum does not, he has said it's fine when there are lulls but not when we get swamped).
