For the first time since Elway retired, I honestly feel we will have a

Peyton Manning is the Michael Jordan of football. I've never seen anyone so good.
Good job my little ponies!
He's definitely back. Damn. That was a hell of a game. This is going to be a fun season.
Have to say it looked liked old times. [Beer]
Yeah! a REAL WIN! No more fluky wins and fluky losses. REAL WINs and REAL losses this year. Yeah talkin about you Tebow (great guy, not so good QB).
He's like a frickin' surgeon.
We will see what you guys say when they lose one. Sure looked good tonight though.
It was exciting but nothing like when Tebow was here.
Tebow couldn't carry Peyton's dirty jockstrap. Tebow is a student. Manning is a teacher.
What's a Tebow? On that note my free Big Mac tomorrow is going to taste um...great. Thanks Manning.
Love Tebow for who he is and what he represents as a young man - God Bless him.
Manning and the Broncos looked incredible against last year's number 1 defense. It was a sight to see - and this season should be great to watch!
GO BRONCOS!
Hard to remember the last time I saw 31 points on the scoerboard and it wasn't in the "visitor's" column.
Enjoy Your Denver Broncos. I'll sit back and wait until manning goes out for the season, come week 5, then see how much you guys are gushing over a sports team.
But Tebow was the best running back the Broncos had all season! [ROFL1]
awesome game, I know its completely silly and frivolous but when the Broncos win on Sunday it feels like all is right with the world even if for a moment.
LOVE it! I am so excited for this season!
As you guys know I hated tim tebow's playing from day one
I said it many times he would make a great tight end, the jets lined him up as a slot receiver all day
Great minds think alike I guess
That being said, manning manning manning
Even if he only has four years or one year left in him I'll take it, oh and Tracy Porter had a pretty good game too
Not much of a pro sports fan, but I do look forward to football season starting. It thins the crowds @ the range on saturday and sunday.

Uhm, free Big Macs?
I must have missed something along the way, but I'm old.
Please enlighten.
Man that was a good game, Manning just picked apart their defense like they were a high school team. The main improvement that I saw was the offensive line. There was solid protection for Manning all night long. They picked up the blitz every time and if they keep that up we have good enough ball handlers to make the plays.
I am psyched for this season, and if manning is healed up (I think that he took plenty of time to do it right) we are going to the post season the right way. I wish we would have kept Tebow as a tight-end too.
"Pro" football is about the only "pro" I watch, and I've been a Manning fan for many years, along with a Farve fan. BUT, does Peyton not know how to pick apart a defense or what. Loved watching him play cat and mouse with Troy last night, and win.
If last night is any indication, this is going to be a fun season to watch Denver Broncos.
Definitely fun to watch the Broncos last night. Pretty clear the Steelers were playing "slow it down" vs Manning while the Broncos were playing "speed it up". Although on balance I do think Porter had a good game, even without the pick 6, he was very nearly burned in the endzone. Got a finger on the ball to deflect it, but was way out of position.
Given the last Steeler series with the sacks and pick, it appears this team might be tough to catch from behind if they have a lead and the other team needs to throw a lot. A good start, but a brutal schedule.

Video just for you, from those of us happy the new Ryan Leif experiment is no longer happening in Denver.
Manning has taken some pretty good shots pre season and in the Steelers game. He's fine. If he's injured, its because any QB would have been injured by some possible future hit etc.
Totally excited by the Broncos play. Not so happy about the LBs and Safeties getting picked apart on all of those 3rd and longs. They need to get on that issue now or it will come up every game this year.
I've been singing the praise of them signing Peyton since the day it happened. I can't believe I had to listen to those say it was a bad move this whole time and was just waiting for this day to prove that he's the Peyton we all expected him to be. Any QB can get injured at any time so I'm not even worried about that because it's the same variable for all of them. Hell, how many teams lost their starting QB yesterday alone? Not Denver. Largest free agent signing in the history of the league... maybe all of professional sports.
The only thing I'm amazed at is how many people are amazed that Peyton Manning is capable of this. Uhm... he did exactly this for 14yrs in Indy and I used to watch Indy games just to watch the guy operate. He's the next evolution of the NFL QB and people need to bottle up what he does and study it and give up on the running QB because as much as people want to think that is next next evolution it's not. A head coach on the field that can dissect defenses and get into the correct play and what not is where it's at. I'm just amazed that we don't see more QB's doing what Peyton does as this should be what all QB's strive for. Tell me one physical attribute that he posses more than any other QB in the league. Go ahead, I'll wait.
Yes, I am a Bronco fan! But I saw a lot of other players on the field. Manning didn't win the game, he was only part of the win. If it wasn't for the line, Mr Hero, could have had another broken neck. Big Question!
Are you a Bronco fan, or just a Manning fan! There is a difference!!
I'm a Bronco fan but you can't deny that he makes everyone around him better. He did it for 14 years in Indy. He's doing it now in Denver. I'm not saying the line didn't do their job and I'm not saying everyone else sucks but face it... Manning is the man! When people talk about Elway they don't say how great his line was in the same breath. It's usually an afterthought. That's just how it works and I'm not the one who controls that. An O-line means nothing w/o a QB behind it that can do what Manning does.
I agree that it was great to finally watch a GOOD Denver football game again. The receivers need to step it up a bit but the offensive line looked fricken excellent. Hopefully this keeps up.
The receiving core will only get better. That was game 1 and the team already played better than I had expected even though I had higher hopes than most. Sure they could regress but I'm excited at the possibilities once they're all on the same page if this is game 1.
It was Von Miller after his 2nd sack near the end of the game. He did it wrong but we all got it. I can't tell you how glad I am that that circus has left town. You can look back a year or so and I was the first to wish him good and hope that he improved but I'm just glad I don't have to wish for a good QB anymore because we have one. No more making up excuses and talking about what might happen down the road. The future is now and experts are now talking about a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in it. 'nuff said.
Crap! I had one last season but I didn't get one this year. Last year it was a free McMuffin or Big Mac. Didn't get to use it as much as I would have liked but still got my use out of it. I didn't get one this year. [Rant1]
Edit: I just read online that some McDonald's will be giving out the tags 'while supplies last' so I'm going to head down there in a bit to see if ours has any still. That or see if I can find my tag from last year to flash up. Sounds like many McDonald's don't even require the tag for the promo.
I think one of the unsung improvements that really excites me is the work against the run in the middle. Sure the Steelers did a great job bouncing it out and still getting a run game going but I was just about fed up with watching RBs walk through to the second and third levels in the middle last year and for that matter the last few years.
Agreed. I know it's only one game (Don't forget, Denver had the best defense in the league through 6 games not all that long ago) but I saw some promising things from the defense. They got better in areas they needed to get better and are already playing well together. They gave up several things they shouldn't have and blew coverage a few times that wasn't taken advantage of but that will also get better as the season goes on. They have youth at all the positions you want youth and veterans at the positions you want veterans. About the only thing I can say they're missing on the defensive side of the ball is an outspoken captain. Brian Dawkins may have been old and lost a few steps but he was MUCH more to that defense than just a safety. They need someone with that fire and that voice to get the D going. Their star & veteran players are all relatively quiet professionals so I would like to see someone step into that role as the season goes on. Other than that, they held a pretty good and difficult to game-plan for offense to under 20 points. I'm good with that.
