AR's in the Denverish area?

I have an extremely narrow window of time the morning of October 7th to shoot AR's with my best friend who lives in Seattle. He flies out from DIA at 2:00 PM that day. We will get up as early as necessary to shoot together somewhere, but obviously closer to DIA is better.

I live 15 minutes from the South site, so it may be that the best idea is to shoot there early and just drive to DIA, but I'm hoping for something up north.

Cherry creek is your best bet.. If you don't mind Nazi range masters.. they're cool till someone fucks up... don't fuck up.

The Gun Store in Centennial, only a 21 yard range though. They even have an AR to rent.

The rangemasters at Cherry Creek were a lot cooler the other day (Thursday afternoon) than they are on the weekends. Probably just the way it goes, as they are crowded on the weekends and lots of people to keep track of.

kinda helps it is more or less on the way to the airport

I have no problem shooting anything at cherry creek, firing line only lets you shoot handgun calibers, plus don't want to shoot something as loud as an AR indoors, even if you double up on ear protection, that's no fun.

See, this is what makes the shooting community so great. Two different offers to host us at private clubs? Awesome! Thanks to you both.

Spleify, we'll definitely get together and bang some steel at a grand soon. I'm more than willing to drive to get out of the (literal) weeds at my current long range site.

Seems like you have things taken care of. I have had good luck with both Blue Core and Centennial Gun Store when I have had cause to take friends shooting in the Denver area on short notice. Both are NFA friendly.
