Under C.R.S. 42-4-110.5, unless the ticket is personally served within 90 days of the infraction, all charges must automatically be dropped.
“If the state, a county, a city and county, or a municipality detects any alleged violation of a municipal traffic regulation or a traffic violation under state law through the use of an automated vehicle identification system, then the state, county, city and county, or municipality shall serve the penalty assessment notice or summons and complaint for the alleged violation on the defendant no later than ninety days after the alleged violation occurred. If a penalty assessment notice or summons and complaint for a violation detected using an automated vehicle identification system is personally served, the state, a county, a city and county, or a municipality may only charge the actual costs of service of process that shall be no more than the amount usually charged for civil service of process.”
Criminal defense lawyers always refer to this Colorado State Act which states that cities/municipals can only serve violation through approved vendors within 90 days.

I can confirm that after 90 days and 2 letter they won't come after you (13 month ago)...
They need to do away with those traffic ticket cams. They're unconstitutional, Nothing more than a way for a municipality to try to extort money from people. It isn't about safety, It is about revenue.

Denver recently gave a friend of mine a CAM ticket, then the next block after that, an officer stopped him and gave him a paper ticket for the school zone in which the CAM was placed inside of. Two tickets, two minutes apart, $380 or something like that. Judge said, pay up.

(He also got a ticket while heading down to the court hearing for the above)
I am surprised they sent you a ticket in GA. I am LEO. If you are not served you are golden. Keep in mind Aurora could keep track or go to the next step. If you come to Aurora much you could get hemmed up in the future. Not likely just saying.
