So what will your Load Out be?
Me, loading up the truck with extra gas and water, beefing up the Get Home Bag with extra...err lead. Some food and such.
Might go with the Saiga 12 and 1911.
Over kill?
What say you?
God paranoia is great!

I plan on going to the office on Tuesday and staying home on Wednesday no matter who wins.
I don't think there will be problems here in the 'burbs. I think people in and near the entitlement areas of Denver and Aurora (which is to say both cities) should be extra observant and careful.
Be especially careful where the Occupy people camped out near the Colfax and Broadway.
I'm stuck in freakin houston.
I've got a load bearing vest with 6 mags, an AR, the USP.
In the truck, Extra fuel, a weeks' worth of food and water, ( conservative), one of the 10/22s with a few thousand rounds of ammo. Wet weather gear, cold weather gear, warm weather gear, BOB, etc.
I don't think election day will be an issue. Who knows what might happen on Wed (or late Tues night).
I doubt it's gonna be an issue in Bailey. The hillbillies up here don't stir up too much trouble.
We now have a 'no gun' policy at work thanks to an employee 'wanting to shoot' people in the office.. Funny thing. I'm exempt from that :)
I will have a discreet rifle case in my office and a few extra mags with my daily carry... Yes.. I work in Aurora.
Ill be working. Guess ill have to hope the govermnet will protect me. I do have a nice crash axe
.308 Tikka T3 Lite with a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x MOA scope, sighted in at 250. Two magazines, 3 rd and 5 rd.Three kinds of ammo. At least 4 knives. Full set of Sitka camo clothes. Two backpacks. Merino wool base layer. Kenetrek boots. Starbucks instant coffee. A elk tag and a black bear tag. I might be the last person in America to get the results of the election.
Bugging in just like nearly every other day I'm not driving to DIA.
Same thing I always have with me, which will remain a secret.
What do you think would make things go sideways? Perhaps something like what happened in 2000?
i guess better safe than sorry but come on nothing is going to happen the day of or after the election. that kind of crap is still a few years down the road.
Here in CO perhaps, most of the state's residents are color blind as it should be. We are fortunate and blessed that we do not have urban areas like NYC, LA, Houston & Philly. Where Bomb Throwers like Al Sharpton comes in with a can of gas in one hand and a pack of matches in the other (figuratively) Then is somewhere else when the flames ignite. All the while inciting the masses with cry's of RACISM.
If the vote is close you don't feel he , jesse jackson, Louis Farrakan, Spike Lee, and other race baiter's will not be crying racism from the roof tops? I hope & pray it never comes to it. However you can't start a fire without a spark. This country, across all colors has people who would not hesitate to stir the pot. Cooler heads would prevail, yet not without some damage to people and society in general:(

"We had three guys sitting out in the lobby last night with candlelight, and very threatening folks were passing by in the pitch black," she said. "And everyone's leaving. That makes it worse.
When a bus pulled up, passengers rushed the door. A transit worker banged on a bus window, yelled at people inside, and then yelled at people in the line.
Rodney King verdict, LA in flames, ANY person with light skin was targeted with out rhyme or reason
The riots in Harlem in 67
Here are a few more.

This was covered by a south park episode after Obama got elected in 2008, and no matter who wins it will likely be the exact same this time.
Just for fun, today I looked at many of the MSM news websites (CNN, ABC, NBM, CBS, etc). They are setting the expectation that Beeho is going to win by trumpeting the polls that favor him the most (Quinnipac, MSNBC< etc). Those tend to use the 2008 turnout model, which favored dem turnout by +8 pts over Repubs. No way that will happen this year. Anyway, if a lot of Dems feel the election was stolen because of their lofty expectations, expect voter fraud accusations in the close races and social unrest in the inner cities. I don't expect we will have problems here.
With the higher number of absentee ballots this year, and the possibility of recounts or provisional ballot delays, it could be 10 days before we know.
That's pretty funny right there! I can't imagine how bored I would be without it!
Yes, absolutely. Despite the stakes of this election, I believe either side will lick their wounds and morn so long as we don't have a too close to call by early morning.
If it is close and undecided, I think things could get a little scary... But not around here. Fingers crossed?
I'll be in the field. My guys will be packing a bunch of A4s, grenade launchers, and a couple 240Bs.
Jeez, and here I was debating whether I should bring a jacket with me to campus or not... [LOL]
Seriously, you guys think extreme rioting and TEOTWAWKI will be happening?
Okay okay, I may decide to look at my vehicle bag one more time, perhaps beef up my water/food and throw a can of gas in it. On Wed I have a 70mi commute for a 1hr class, then turn around and go back home to stay there for the rest of the day.
As has been mentioned here previously, I think nothing will happen here. The hippies in planet boulder may stage a peaceful weed-fueled protest, but that's it. Now cities like NY, Cleveland, LA, and Detroit... nevermind Chicago... well lets just say I don't want to be anywhere near them.
Scenarios and what ifs? I would guess no change in behavior next week. However I am always prepared.
I'll have my usual loadout. I may be a little more aware of the news and such for a few days. Denver won't likely have any issues, but when Romney puts the smackdown on the Golden One, the entitlement crowd may get a little restless, particularly in concentrated urban areas on the left(ist) coast. Yeah, I'm talking about LA and San Fran. They have fricken riots when their sports teams WIN championships, fer chrissakes.
:)
This potential scenario is like any other day. If you CCW you CCW, IF you feel there migth be the potential for "something" happening that your daily CCW might not handle, bring along a friend.
Every day you hear the same thing over & over.
"You never woudl of thought something like this could happen here" It can and it does.
Believe me my sister is attached to a LE dept upstate ny, my nephews are nypd, the 911 calls for outright physical assault, at gas stations, is only the tip of the urban iceberg. A good cold snap, no more food & water, whats that BOC song?
CITIES AFLAME.....WITH ROCK N ROLL Yeah it can and does happen. Even my semi gun friendly relative, is acquiring a shotgun. AND He's in pasty[ROFL1] white suburban America.
Why do you think election day or the day after will be different than any other day, in terms of "life or death" situations where you might need to fight your way out? Did I miss a memo or something? If one of the two wins, is the other side going to flip out and start something?
I think it is tin foil hat time for some...business as usual for just about all of us I believe, whatever happens.
I don't anticipate that anything will happen. I'm just prepared in case it does.
The mentality of the inner city minorities in the south is somewhat different from that of those of us in the rest of the country.
ill be in the basement cleaning my new 2a1...
Do you think we will know the next day? I heard iowa may take 10 days to count...?
