My son arrived home from basic training last night. He looked so sharp in his uniform. I told him it was his turn to carry on the family legacy as he is the 4 generation serving in the military. Today means something a little more.to me.

While yesterday was the official holiday, today is the day it is being observed.
So, for all of you who have served this nation or who are still serving - and this applies to the spouses and children of the uniform wearer as well - I THANK YOU for your sacrifices and service.
