With all the depressing talk about UN takovers, awb, good or not good shoots, and Obama, I figured that I would start a thread on beer.
What's your favorite beer?
My favorite here lately has been Ranger Pale Ale..

The one you buy me.
When I am not drinking Jameson or Stranahans Whiskey, Land Shark.[Coffee]
+1 for Ranger or Mojo
I support the local business...Coors Light!!
Root beer. Stopped drinking 9 years ago.
I am a kick of BECKs beer
Huge Grimm Brothers fan.
I don't often drink beer, but when I do it's this

Stuffs a bitch to find and only comes in big bottles.
Grimm Brothers? Haven't had that...
Guinness (Draft)...I was weaned on the stuff
Coors light for me too
5 Barrel if I had to pick one but I like several.
Stella Artois.
Cold and free is my favorite
Support local Canadian business. Coors sold out to Molsom back when Pete Coors (which I loved his stance on guns) sold out before running for the senate.
To the OP. One of the best beers that I had was in Germany and it was called Budwieser. But its not the same that they sell everywhere. Its only sold in the Chec Rebublic.
Locally go for some micro brew or even brew your own. It will blow the shit out of anything that you get in the store.
I mix it up all the time. I do like the O'dell 90 Shilling quite a bit right now.
Right now a couple of my favorites is Stella and Steinlager. I still do enjoy and good ice cold Bud light, Miller light etc. though.
About time we had a beer thread around here.
My personal favorite is Dogfish Head Santo Palo Marron.
Followed closely by some microbrew with some pistols on the front, and Great Divide Claymore Scotch Ale.
Left Hand's Sawtooth Ale......even better on nitro draft up at the brewery.
Negra Modelo for me. It's best on tap, I think I need one now. Off to the kegorator I go!
I prefer pilsners over lagers, favorite is Pilsner Urquell.
easy street wheat. I'm a wheat beer guy!
I like variety but if I had to pick one single beer to wear the title "favorite" it would be Guinness.
Funny, I was hanging with a friend after work yesterday and he asked me what my favorite brew was.
Really it depends. Right now, I'm really digging Newcastle on tap. Get a kegorator and your tastes change a lot. Of course Newcastle bottles are good too, but on tap in a chilled glass...very good.
Honestly though, good old fashioned PBR on tap is a fine "everyday" beer, especially for the price.
Sawtooth is another that I often get for the kegorator for BBQ's and stuff. Yummy.
Who the hell am I kidding......there are so many good beers out there. No way I can pick "ONE" except the "free and cold" ones others have mentioned.
Left Hand Milk Stout.
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat out of Kansas City. A lot of the liquor stores in the Denver area started carrying Boulevard (DaveCo Liquor out on I-25 and 164th had lots and several other types of Boulevard too). The only way to serve it is with a slice of lemon. If you try it, you MUST have the lemon! It's kind of like an orange in Blue Moon, but is quite different and really brings out the true flavors of the beer. Sadly, I can't get it down here in New Mexico, so I usually get something similar or a seasonal beer. IPA's are always an excellent choice.
Was just about to post that picture "What your Beer Style Says About You".. Then I realized I got that from this site in the Funny Pictures Thread (pg463). lol
Root beer!! (under age) plus i don't see the point in drinking beer that just means you have to stay away from your guns for that period of time..:(
When i did drink, it would be any COLD beer poured over ice. Washed down with a few tequila chasers .
The standard "go to" beer is Dales Pale Ale from Oskar Blues or Cuthroat Porter from Odell's.
Belgian aged Yeti from Great Divide or Old Rasputin from Northcost if an Imperial Stout is in order.
This time of year the holiday ales are a treat if that is your thing. Try Old Jubilation from Avery or Hibernation from Great Divide.
Most anything from the Bristol Brewery. My favorite is Laughing Lab.
im not much of a beer drinker (prefer jim beam) but when i do its a natty boh . its the baltimore local swill ,kinda like pbr but worse [Beer] .
Odell 90 schilling
I dont always drink beer, but when I do I prefer a pilsner to a lager. An ice cold bud light with lime is really nice on a warm day or by the campfire. we really dont drink that much at all. with four kids you kind of put the brakes on any hard partying.
I prefer vodka or tequila, I eat a lot of mexican food (grew up with a family mexican restaurant literally next door) so margaritas are a favorite.
stay thirsty my friends
Sam Adams Winterfest if it's cold and Sunshine during the warmer months.
Alaskan Brewing Company had a limited edition out over the summer called "Perseverence Ale." It was an oak aged ale that came in bombers only. Out of production now, but it was to die for! Polished off the other half of a Yeti Oak Aged Stout bomber last night....tasty!
