Was on i25 yesterday in Denver heading north bound and saw a newer Ford F150 silver/grey color that had someone pulled over. Light bars inside the whole 9. Anyone else seen it or know about it?

Saw the Silver one in Broomfield/Westminster quite a bit last year when I was still driving a truck regularly, but haven't seen one in a while
Ya, their getting very sneaky now a day's. Love my Radar detector!
In the future you will see more and more pickups as patrol vehicles. They cannot all be Chargers.
Lol - I actually saw this guy a few years back, and it was a funny circumstance. Was northbound on I-25, near the 470 exit. I'm in the right-most lane passing the exit, when a girl cuts across 3 lanes of traffic, nearly sideswipes me, and cuts into a long train of traffic all exiting. Guess she couldn't be bothered to go to the next exit and turn around. She cut in front of a silver pickup, and I heard the horn lay on angrily for a few seconds. Then in the rearview, the flashers came on. I could totally picture the guy's thought process...
"Freakin idiot!!! What the hell are you thinking??!! You could've.......... wait a minute. Oh right... I'm a cop! I'll just put these lights on......"
Heh heh.
I saw a guy get pulled over by a mini-van in Vegas. The lights were attached to the visor and he had to flip it down to turn them on.
Seen a gold colored truck north of castle rock...seen unmarked chargers, yukons, ppvs, and ford interceptors in the castle rock area...LEOs gettin too tricky
The CSP has a lot of trucks for patrol. I think they use them to carry gear that they need to check out compliance with semi's, like portable scales and such.
While the CSP will make Motor Carrier Inspections the majority of that is The Port of Entry's forte'. They are the ones with the mobile scales and such. They fall under the eigis of the Department of Revenue.
What you saw was more than likely just CSP traffic enforcement.
CSP has a fair amount of oddball vehicles used to catch road ragers.

Well that's a good reason for you to pull him over in your mini van.
Port of Entry was recently rolled into the CSP.
I first saw this ~ 2005 with Lafayette police they started using a black f-150 with full window tint and everything.
I got pulled over in Greenwood Village the other day by a fully blacked out Lancer!! it red/blue lights were inside, in the grill and on the backs of the side mirrors. I mean Cmon man.. a Lancer??
Littleton PD has also been using pickups for quite sometime now. The lancer in GV is a new one to me, seems like they mostly use domestic vehicles for the undercover cars.
Yes, problem solved. ;)

there is a subaru sti in foco that patrols on college when everyone is crusing. Seen him nail a bunch of people. blacked out windows and mild exhaust!
Lafayette PD has one that fits this description - even has the nice chromed toolboxes in back. The "giveaway" are the factory small tires and rims. Seems most nice F150s have decent tires and rims, if not mudders on them. I see it most often around 95th street and Arapahoe giving out tickets...
