I think you might be a bit surprise (this is not an endorsement of them or their actions) but I did ask for "thoughts" and understand where you're coming from (from what I know of them).

now, i dont know who really made the video. but, it states my beliefs to a T. It tows the Constitutional line. IT is completely inline with the 2A. It spells out what the governmental bodies need to do and are required to do. and if they fail, what the consequences are. it was a good videos regardless of who made it.

I think the real Anonymous IS the hard-core left. I'm not convinced that video was created by Anonymous. I could be wrong but I don't think that's their style.

Anonymous is not some monolithic group with a single purpose or even philosophy other than being anti- government. I wouldn't read anymore into it than it serves those anti- government feelings to protest the current action. In the end they'll piss off the .gov a little, but they're not going to change the administration's mind.

I've never heard of anonymous until this thread. and from what I've seen in the last 15 minutes...they seem "alright" to me. but if someone could enlighten me to their past exploits I would be greatly appreciative. I prefer to know as much as I can about someone or something before I can call it good or bad.

No worries. I work in information security, so I've been following this group for a while now. Anarchists seems to be most accurate label IMO. They do appear to be quite skilled in the digital realm when they take up a cause. As everyone and everything is connected via the interwebz these days, it's best not to piss them off.

Well, I've never heard of "Anonymous" before, and have no idea who really made that video. But I think that's the BEST damn statement I've heard to date, and agree with it 100 percent.
