Getting Certified- Centennial Defense Academy
So I'm scheduling to finally get it done, go and get my NRA Pistol Instructor Certification this month, and looking on the NRA Instructors listing found one for Centennial Defense Academy in Englewood... Has anyone dealt with this organization before? Does anyone know anything about it? Also, anyone here an NRA Certified instructor? What do I need prior to taking this course? Thanks.

You mean basic pistol. As far as I know the NRA doesn't have a "CCW" course. Basic Pistol simply meets the state req. Also if you teach BP a gun is a "firearm" or "Handgun". It's not a weapon until you start teaching PPIH and PPOH.
