Ending song of Blood Diamond as well as the ending song of the movie Ali.
End of Fight Club
"Where is my mind" --Pixies
The Hurt Locker goes right into a Ministry song very smoothly for something heavy. I think its Khyber Pass.
oh i forgot about inception - time. and gladiator.
Working In A Coal Mine the first song specifically associated with the end of a movie that pops into my mind. The DEVO version was played during the credits for the first Heavy Metal movie. The song isn't necessarily a killer song but I find the combination of that song and the credits funny. To this day I often think of it when the credits are played for a movie.
Sweet music from the Hurt Locker- I agree!
If anyone has seen Les Mis, the ending song is pretty catchy. You certainly won't be able to separate the song from the film though, seeing as the song was composed FOR the musical Les Mis.
Indiana Jones . everytime i see those films that theme song is stuck in my head for days . as a matter of fact just thinking about it has gotten it stuck in my head .....[Bang]
Gone In 60 Seconds
"Flower" --Moby
Some have been posted, but almost anything Hans Zimmer does. Gladiator, DaVinci Code, The Dark Night are some of my favorite for end of movie songs. Blackhawk Down has some great music from Zimmer in the movie. I feel like he is picking up where John Williams left off (Raiders, Superman, E.T., Close Encounters, Jaws, Jurrasic Park, etc.)
The history behind that scene is pretty funny. Everyone was sick with I think food poisoning and Harrison Ford was supposed to have a big sword fight with guy but didn't want to cause he was so sick, so he said can't I just shoot him. Turned into one of the best scenes in the movie.
Requiem for a dream. Whoever picked the ending song was a genious. Matched up with the imagery perfectly.
Footloose........ and Caddy shack...... both Kenny Loggins songs.
Mickey Mouse Club house song at the end of Full Metal Jacket.
Wake Up by Rage Against the Machine at the end of the first Matrix movie.
damn it now i have footloose in my head [Bang][Bang]
The Bourne movies. You know the end of the movie when that song starts with the two hoots from a barn owl... Or whatever that noise is..
I know huh? It is my 12 year old daughter's fault....[Bang] ;)
end of sopranos (journey - don't stop believing)
Donnie darko (mad world)
Fallen, the song that goes with the demon. Time is on my side. by the end of the movie that song will be with you for months
Worst one for me wasn't at the end, but the opening song in Top Gun.
Someone allready mentioned The Pixies at the end of fight club. But I also really like Pearl Jam man of the hour at the end of Big Fish.
I can't say that I've even listened to any recent movie's final songs. What with the product placement, out of character, vanilla pop, spooge I can't hit the off button fast enough.
