Whatever happen, will probably be reversed by the next conservative administration. But to answer your question, I do have a large container I can use to bury stuff and wait for the next administration's decision.
The answer to that question should be known by the folks you're asking. The answer definitely should not be posted to a public Internet forum.
You guys just keep wanting to put up stuff that in the end will not go well.
Theoretically, we'll see civil disobedience on a massive scale. As much as they'd like to, they are never going to get the genie back in the bottle.
As far as I know, Americans are not required to adhere to unconstitutional laws.
If you even have something to give up or bury. Will I have to give up my Nerf arsenal?
Don't ask, don't tell. Duh.
Keeping it ready to go as needed.
I don't know about you guys... but if anything passes, I'm going on vacation to Lake Powell to get some fishing in. :)
Let me know if you fish up the AR that went to the bottom when the canoe rolled over.
It's one thing if/when it hits the fan and you do what you have to. It's entirely another to be talking about what you would do before you have to act. Look up the word "conspiracy".
I also have to take issue with the term "Constitutional right". Our rights were given to us 'by our creator' before there ever was a Constitution. The authors of the document understood this. Self-preservation is a natural right. That right is protected from the Federal government by the 2nd Amendment, not granted by it.
I, for one, have been hugely motivated to engage with my representatives at state and federal levels. The postcard campaign is one way for our voices to be heard.....whether or not our elected officials listen is another matter entirely.
My in-laws were born in Nazi occupied Holland. It's amazing what they don't talk about, even at family gatherings, to this day. They understood what happened when you made what you thought were innocent comments, maybe about religion or politics or whatever, that later may cost you your freedom or your life.
I think there's a lesson in wisdom in there.
I foresee a record number of Colorado boating accidents in 2013.
Just so everybody in the world knows, I'm hereby announcing to the internet that I have discarded all firearms from my person and worldly possessions. Any pictures I use in future posts will be fictitious, and merely represent what I wish I had in this world, and any future discussions on firearms will be hypothetical.
Bottom line, if a ban does go into effect. Which I hope it wont. It will start a Civil War in America. Citizens VS Government on a very high plain! And I for one will not give up my rights for any one. If having a weapon is a crime? Than I will be the most honest, law abiding, Criminal I know. Having lost those dar things in boating accident! Or buried somewhere in The Great sand dunes.
This particular redneck will be returning to a red State, where I can be certain I will not be the only one shooting back. I will be taking all my guns with me; I don't even own a boat.
This is one of those topics, that though most might agree on what would happen, etc, it is best not discussed here in the open. I have my thoughts on the subject, but I wouldn't want to put it out here, so the feds can round us all up.
What ever i choose to do sure as hell wouldn't be posted on the internet.
If they want to come round us up for acknowledging what they already know about us, the net effect is the same.
Something my brother has always said, "Everyone is a hero, until the blood starts flowing." If this whole scenario goes south in a big way, the reality of what is happening will shatter minds and render the general populace useless. It is not an issue of what you will hide, it is a simple matter of what will you do. I have never been placed in a situation where I have had to take a life, and I sincerely hope I never am, but as someone has already said, once the genie is out of the bottle it isn't ever going back in. So let's hope it never comes to that.Quote:
When you think it’s time to bury your guns, it’s really time to dig them up
Unfortunately I have had the displeasure of being shot at and having to shoot at people... as I'm sure there are a few more on this board. Practice and muscle memory is your friend, because the plan is only good until contact is made... then the plan went out the fucking window. Your brain shuts down... going into tunnel vision of sorts, you go into auto pilot. Order will come out of the chaos.
I think the most difficult thing for me would be that its my own people, not the taliban. But an enemy is an enemy.... you have to stow that shit and drive on hooah.
Patriots in our countries past have been through this, and they survived while preserving our country. You can rest assured, a stronger people, and a stronger.....more loophole free Constitution will come of this.
I am not afraid to post it, I will simply not comply. MOLON LABE
I think having a dedicated representative on the inside is the only answer. Maybe even legislating an official state militia? Is that even constitutional? If they are gonna pay unemployment, why can't they just pay them to guard the schools & theaters.
I will comply with the United States Constitution... That is all
