gizmodo, the same geniuses that took a tv-turn-off device to E3 in 2008 and basically ruined a bunch of presentations that many people had worked very hard to create. I still visit Lifehacker from time to time. Seems to be the least political of Gawker's sites. I do use an RSS feed though - that way I see only the headlines and only check out what interests me.
