Keep In mind he is a bitch...................
Haha! They are all pretty good anymore no matter who builds them.
Toyota, if you want something "American made" [LOL]
I'd rather be cummin then strokin!
I have had a chevy and a gmc both with the duramax, I now have a ram with the h.o. cummins. if you want top end power go with the gm, if you want a smooth ride, longevity and a much nicer interior go ram. I have steered clear of the ford main reason being a cheesy interior, and after the warranty is over any motor work requires the cab to be lifted off and a $1200.00 minimum bill. but in the the end ford out powers them all, and has the best transmission, the new 2013 ram is going to have more power and a better ride, as well as a new trans. it is not out yet but is due any day. if you want interior room the ram mega cab is the winner hands down.
I want a truck that runs a Cummin 4bt diesel. Why can't we get a small diesel truck in the US? Oops , forgot ..no politics
Only the Cummins will go the distance. Cat in the big Fords may still be an option.

I've been a Duramax fan for quite some time and currently own one so of course of going to be a little biased. But honestly it all depends on what your looking for....Are you planning on buying one off the lot or used? If your wanting one off the lot honestly of the "big three" diesels, any one of them are going to be nice trucks no doubt about it, if used some years are better than others depending on the model.
I have 325000 miles on my 93 d350 and it still gets 18 mpg and does everything I ask of it. Why are you getting rid of the dirtymax
Dodge? You mean Fiat, don't you?
So in the new Dodges.....
1 tons have roughly 6k lbs less towing capacity...anyone want to explain???
I'm looking new....2012 stills on the lots....
I have a 2006 Nissan Titan with 44,000 miles that I'm willing to sell for the right price. It's an AMAZING truck.
Selling for the 6.4L FORD.
After careful consideration and going back and forth, I can't get over the fact that the 5.9L is wrapped around a nickel and dime you to death dodge.
FORD all the way, the F150 with ecoboost is a monster. Hope they release the raptor wit an ecoboost option.
I'm avoiding "made in 'Mercia" cause everything is made in Mexico or china. Don't matter where it is "assembled".
max trailer tow weight of the big three, toyota and just for laughs the x5 diesel are below.
2013 ford, chevy- 23,100#
2013 ram- 30,000#
2013 toyota tundra- 8,100#
2013 x5 diesel- 6,000#

Dodge: best engine, junk tranny and axle
Chevy/GMC: Good engine, best tranny, good axle
Ford: a lot of people like them
The best advise I can give without being completely biased is to test drive each one and see what YOU like. Like I said any of the newer models of the big 3 diesels are going to be good trucks, just depends on what your looking for really, each have their differences.
My step brother builds Ford trucks, with cummins motors, and Allison trannys and has a waiting list of people lined up to have them done. That way you get the best of all 3.
they are all so good anymore that it is hard to start an argument over which one is better. I needed interior space so that is why I went with the ram, and the heaviest trailer I tow is well under what any of them can handle so that did not even come into play in my decision.
So here's the gig....
ford right now is 10k off list for 2012
Dodge is 9k off list.
chev, close but can't get all the bells and whistles. Pretty basic.
Ford and dodge I can get a 1 ton for the cost of a 3/4 from chev
sooooo.........
should I buy a 1 ton and be done or........
unless you haul a 5th wheel I would stay with the 2500 it rides smoother and will be cheaper on insurance, check pricing with dave smith and see if your dealer will price match them if they are cheaper, mine did after I calld their bluff and told them I would go up there to get one instead and I saved an extra $3,000
