Some things I don't miss about moving away from the Highlands area... like the car jacker that was found hiding in my recycling bin about 6 years ago and I awoke to Denver Police yelling and holding the guy face down by my back door with "assault rifles" and a K9 pointed at him. [panic]
They had to look for the gun that he allegedly threw away, so they were searching my back yard. I had to tell the officer to watch out for land mines placed by my pooch. [pileoshit]
I grew up in that area 36th and tejon. It was a little bit hood when i was there. I miss it tho, just to expensive to move back.
