Dear Mr. Brown,

When I signed up for your little group I opted NOT to receive emails from you. I recently received the email in regards to the AR-15 giveaway. No big deal. It's a good thing! I entered for a chance to win...

Since I entered the contest I have received the same AR-15 contest email TWENTY ONE FUCKING TIMES. [Rant2][Rant1]

Now, if I was allowed to enter the contest 21 times that's one thing... But, since I already entered I'm not allowed to enter again, why do you keep sending me the SAME GOD DAMNED EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Bang][Mad]

I was hoping my use of the F Bombs and the Rant Faces would get me at least an 8 out of 10 rating on the rant...

I feel ya, for some reason I get them on 2 email addresses. It is annoying. I gave them money because thats what I wanted to do but I too am getting spammed constantly too.

I agree. The emails are getting a little out of hand. We all know the importance of the situation we are in but spamming us with emails isn't going to help. There are so many I am just starting to just delete them now with out even looking.
Yes we could add them to a spam filter but then I might miss something important or of interest. I suggest they consolidate the emails and only send them out when truly important.

I am getting spammed as well but I hit delete.

My guess is that their mail server sucks. They are probably trying to send out emails to people who recently signed up, however their mail server sends an email to every single person on their mail list every time they are trying to send emails to the noob's.

Dudley your IT staff is a dud and it's time to upgrade if you want to be taken seriously.

I'm more upset at the fact that when they first advertised that give-a-way, they did NOT indicate that you had to be a Colorado resident (sure, I assumed, but it wasn't in the fine print). Now, they have changed the terms of the give-a-way and I am no longer eligible! Did I ever really have a shot at winning that AR? Probably not. But still, its the principle of it!

I think I entered with one email address, and then when I joined RMGO I used my other one. Therefore I get them on both, which both go to my phone.

I have a bad taste about rmgo purely from the emails I receive. Needs to control it as I get enough crap to sort thru and his 20+ emails all saying the same thing is wasting my time

I've also gotten the "Colorado Battle Plan" about 30 times.....

I am glad I am not alone on the emails! I get the urgency and the need for us to ban together but the repetitive spamy emails are getting to be a little much

I've been an RMGO member for about four years. You get used to BLAH, Blah, blah, "send cash" about twice per day. Pretty soon you'll get NAGR email as well, then Rand Paul, then someone else.

I'd rather live in present day New York then donate to that douche. He can pound sand into glass for all I care.

Yup, I joined RMGO to support the fight going on now in CO, and now I get almost daily spam from all three, usually just looking for more money. My next donation may go to SAF instead.

The stuff RMGO does costs money. They have to get it from somewhere. If they don't ask, they don't get a lot. FFS...donate what you can and ignore the emails. This is getting as bad as the "pricing" threads. First there's bitching that gun groups aren't doing anything now there's bitching because they are. Like a bunch a old ladies.

I hooked State Rep. Chris Holbert (who has posted in this forum) up with the event organizers though, as a speaker. To date, though, no one from the event has confirmed nor replied to him.

No one asked us about "Jan. 19th" -- in fact, we've been spammed (to stay with the topic of this thread) by people setting up their own rallies, all with different dates, and none with any reasoning for picking that date/location/type of event.

To the original meaning of this thread: if RMGO doesn't send e-mails, people say (said it on this forum about a month ago) "Where is RMGO???" And if we send too many, well, the F bomb gets dropped.

We're sending out the e-mail about the giveaway multiple times (and giving it away in the first place) in an effort to increase our reach to otherwise unknown and uncontacted gun owners. So, the idea is to forward to a friend to get them involved.

After the AR-15 giveaway, we're giving away a Glock (this one will be shorter). We're going to be giving guns, and gear, away at a rapid pace, as long as it brings in new people. And it has -- in dramatic fashion.

In the future, we'll exclude any e-mails who have signed up for that specific giveaway, so they only get it once. This first one was a test, though, as we'd never done it.

sometime i actually feel bad for you dudley (im being honest ). ill admit im one of those people who expect a lot . yes your right you cant please everyone even those who chose to donate to your cause . i guess you cant win by not trying . keep up the pressure and the offer still stands . when you a ready to help educate the public or make a pamphlet about gun rights ill gladly hand it out .
