I gotta tell you I am almost as excited about that as I was about signing the lease! Monday was damn cold in here! Now I can be warm and toasty!

BBQ ouside the shop this evening?
Nope, but I have been kicking the idea around of a COAR15 tech day at the shop. BBQ, set up a rifle build room in the back, bring some cars in. Perhaps on a Saturday or something if there is some interest.
In the summer time i'll bring my Impala out... right now its just under a car cover
After this latest run of global warming with lows around 0 and highs around 20, it really makes you appreciate being comfy. Enjoy!
Did you get the girly pics up on the walls yet?
I'd bring the old shitbox down. 82 jeep CJ-7. Sounds fun.

Ick beamers. Had a stupid service writer try and sell a cheap battery to a customer this week. Had to school her on what it really should have. Then had to dink around in the launch to reset the module for the battery, lol. Too bad you're in denver, and I work for a shop already, lol.
Hey man, remember working on my 2wd 2000 Silverado? Do you do suspension work on those too? Something ain't right, I plan to get a free analysis at Denver Spring to find out what the problem is, and would then prefer to have an honest independent wrench fix it.
I am knee deep in a total rebuild on my Audi. This whole journey started when the weather was much better. So, I feel your pain from before. I wish I had a shop with heat and a lift bay. Sigh... I want an autocrafts shop for civies.
Tell me about it. When I first moved to Denver I was stuck for a while at Midas while I looked for a better gig. An X3 came in needing a battery. Wasn't my ticket but I checked it out. Under warranty. I mention it to the service writer. Nope. They just replaced the AGM battery with a standard one and didn't reprogram it. I left shortly after.
Funny you mention them. Corporate(cosmic) store, or one of the franchise stores? Put in quite a few years with some midas franchises before I went to an independent out here. I got very tired of cleaning up the messes that C techs made doing A tech work, and the front staff had even less of a clue, and pushing cheap parts for high prices. Know how many crank sensors I threw in a VW from bautozone before they decided to listen to me and get one from the dealer?lol
I will not do business with Auto zone. I took over as manager and the only tech in a shop in Lakewood. The previous owner had run up a few thousand dollars debt with every parts supplier. Then sold the business. No one would sell the business parts for a month. Except auto zone. So that is what I used for a month till I cleared up the confusion with the rest of the parts suppliers. Then I spent the next 6 months replacing every single part I hung that first month.
