Yes, I know this is a CO board but figured it couldn't hurt.
Going to be in Salt Lake City for a week ([NoClue]) and looking for ideas on restaurants around the airport. Mexican, BBQ and Asian are at the top of the list.
TIA

The Red Iguana.....Great Mexican food
One of the "malls" there had a great Brazilian barbacue type place, and a really awesome Italian restaurant.
Lonestar tacos is awesome! (Cottonwood) Waffles and Frites downtown is great too! Both small joints with good grub!
bring me back a real estate mag or 2 if you'd be so kind.
Simply Sushi was pretty good last time I was there. Went to the one at 180 W 400th S. It's all you can eat on many of the items.. http://www.simplysushi.us/l
Joseph Smith's fish tacos is great.
The Red Iguana is probably best for Mexican but, and I can't remember the name of the place, it is Italian in the "Little Italy" area near a Vespa/Piaggio scooter dealership and not only is it the best Italian food I have ever had, it was the best dinner in any restaurant of any kind, anywhere I have ever had. It was amazing!
Down Sandy way there is a steak house called Carvers that is the best one around that area.
Ditto. I'm more of a Sonoran Mexican food guy, but this place was pretty good.
Rodesios. It was good, but all the Brazilian BBQ's in the states are pretty much the same. I've never been to a terrible one. Basically, if you've never been to one, by all means go. But if you have them in your area, I don't think that one is particularly special.
Thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like some good possibilities. Keep 'em comin'. [Beer]
Jim,
I'll see what I can find. Do you really want to see how "affordable" houses are in the rest of the country? I used to pick those up, when I'd visit the parents, in TN. It just made me [Cry].
