They have dedicated their lives and made careers out of protecting the people within their counties.

Law Enforcement is very pro gun for the most part. Aside from mouthpieces for anti gun mayors. Law Enforcement Against Gun Control is making some big strides. It looks like they are getting ready to start up a web site in addition to the facebook stuff page.

Wow, finally a well thought out, lucid and calm response to the attacks on our rights that comes from people that politicians might actually listen to. I'm willing to be the two not signed on to this are Denver and Arapahoe counties. Thinking I might need to move out of Aurora sooner than anticipated, but the younger kid has 2 more years until graduation.

Nice. This has to have a sobering effect on whatever the state government wants to impose. They may conclude that this is a battle they really don't want to start.
If I recall, the politicos in NYS that just passed their new law based pretty much all their knowledge on what the local Law Enforcement told them.
I still am not too worried about anything at the federal level, my worry comes from all the Dems here at the state level that want to bring everyone under that ridiculous law that Denver has on semi autos and high cap mags. That is the one that we need to be on the lookout for and kill it quick or else they will ram it through on some random late night mid week session when no one is paying attention.
Print it out and mail copies to your state and fed reps!
I'm glad to see that at least a handful of our elected officials still maintain some level of intellegence, and believe in the Constitution that this Country was founded on.
Possibly Denver County sheriff since he/she is appointed and not elected. C&C of Broomfield may be the same. Just guessing.Quote:
