Scissors may seem like a good idea now, but they are on the list to be banned after they get rid of: semiauto rifles and shotguns, handguns, scoped rifles, double barreled shotguns, lockblades, and large kitchen knives. In 10 years the only scissors legal for civilians to own will have rounded tips and rubber handles with warning labels on the dull blades.
Someone is going to have to tell the TSA that scissors are dangerous. You can bring scissors with a blade less than 4" on a flight and I have some kitchen shears that seperate into basically 2 4" knives. They're legal but a 2" pocket knife isn't? [fail]
