FIREMISSION! A GREAT IDEA!

I was listening to the radidio (Micheal Brown) on the way home when he brought up a great idea. Tennessee was proposing a state income tax in 2001 and in protest people drove around the capitol laying on the horn all day.
It worked, they killed the law. The constant racket caused them to stop the hearings repeatedly.
Now it is clear phone calls, e mails and letters have all fallen on deaf ears in regards to the proposed legislation's.
We have to step it up.
So this upcoming Monday, March 4 let's surround the capitol with horns blaring. Can't take all day off? No problem, just take a long lunch and take a couple of laps with the horn blaring.
Cops write you a ticket? So what, blowing your horn in protest to a particular law on a particular day is protected as "Free Speech".

Get this out on Facebook, Twitter etc.
We need folks to stand on the corners with signs saying "Honk to protect your 2A rights".
Get a hold of RMGO, CSSA, Gunshops etc.
Get the word out.
Somebody want to copy this and post it on Arfcom?

I've already been seeing this in various places such as FB, so there is definitely some support. I'm down. Fire for effect!

We all know surface to surface fires are like close air support's fat, ugly, little sister who has to go to the prom with her cousin.

P/U some of those air horns we have a few small ones but they are stupid loud.

Or take a page out of Germany's book and hook up some munitions that scream like the Ju88 used too.

If you can get the air horn by Sunday I will come in and have it installed by Monday for this. But it needs to be at my shop with the vehicle to be installed on by Sunday morning. So if you have to ship it it is still doable. Kinda.

Can you even get close enough to the capitol building for them to even hear a car horn? I like the Vuvuzelas though.. Cover the front steps of the building with a hundred of those and this will all be over in minutes.

Yeah! I heard this on Brown today too.

I have off and will be doing laps with my 4 month old in the back seat and a bright yellow Gadsden flag flying behind my big-ass Wrangler. Last chance guys - make it a LOUD PROTEST!

So I was thinking, what time would be best to arrive? I figure 11:00 - 1:00 is silly since these government asshats will be sucking down martinis and sushi for lunch.

So, afternoon or morning? I'm just not versed in all the gubmint inner-workings to know when they do their important stuff.

How about waiting to use this tactic for the final Senate vote, instead of the hearings on Monday? This is our last chance to have OUR voices heard; why drown that out? Far better to be standing together than drowning out those speaking on our behalf.

This is a fantastic idea. I hope that I can take a sick day to come down and do this. It would be so cool to just have an unending line of cars laying on the horn all day at the capital. Any chance of the COAR folks meeting up somewhere and all getting in line together?

The best way I can see is to go North on Lincoln to Colfax then go East to Grant then South to 13th then West back to Lincoln and North again.
