I just heard about this. A recall kickoff today, 19-MAR in Wheat Ridge. Runs from 6:30-9:00. Apparently her lecture of a rape victim isn't going over very well with her constituents. She won by less than 1% in November with an Obummer coattail election and a Libertarian candidate taking 6% of the vote.

Awesome. I'm not a Wheat Ridge resident, but wish y'all the best. Question for all these recalls: is there a fund set up for donations, contributions to assist in the efforts?

These are the same people Go to www.bfdf.org to learn more. They just dropped the recall paperwork at the Secretary of State's office today on McLachlan. They have 60 days to get signatures from the day they file. Morse's recall is coming soon. You can donate on that site and they can then steer funds to the individual committees as needed.Quote:

I'm going to be collecting signatures from people in Senate District 19. We could use some help collecting signatures after we get everything set up. The next meeting is at 7PM, Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center.

Can you give any numbers of signed petitions? It's been asked on FB, but there has been no answer posted. I assume because of concerns that Hudak and her friends will get on there and find out. There is great interest in knowing how the effort is doing!
I don't have the exact number. As the petitions come in on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the collection points they get notarized and added to the official tally. Only a few people have the exact numbers. I can tell you that we had a steady stream of cars coming in at the sign & drives on Wadsworth. I was one of the volunteers.Quote:
