Went mountain biking for the first time this year

Yeah, first rides usually kill me but I bought a trainer for the winter to keep my legs going. Went out twice last week and plan on going tomorrow pending the weather!

Just took my first ride too and my ass hurts..... maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Have any of you used Strava? It seems pretty cool, I was able to find out that I'm the slowest in the area on the ride I did.

I used to compete in downhill but sold my bike awhile back after Crankworx. I still have a basic mountain bike and need to get back out but I dont know anyone else who goes and I am way out of shape. If anyone wants to go out and get back in shape i'm down!

I do mainly downhill , nice little spring weather we've had here recently but looks like ill be riding in the snow again here soon.

Congrats on the ride now get yourself a road bike to keep the mountain bike company!
Take care of your back I tore muscles in my lower back last year racing and still am not back at a hundred percent almost a year later.

I'm jealous, I moved here from the east coast in late fall and haven't had a chance to take my bike anywhere but around where I live! Can't wait to head up into the mountains.

I'm in FoCo and ride an old beat up Bianchi hardtail. Need a good excuse to get my out of shape butt back in the saddle. Group ride?

I ride too, but have been dealing with a wrist issue so not for about 10 weeks. I can't make myself get on that trainer.
