A friend just sent me this. Interesting from the WSJ.
I wish they would have entitled their catagories differently:

I think it's interesting that this one is considered strengthening the laws?
A quick search turned up this on an older page.Quote:
Wyoming - Would allow a judge to carry a weapon in his courtroom and prohibit someone else from carrying a weapon in his or her courtroom.
Quote:
What places are off-limits when carrying a concealed weapon in Wyoming?
- Any facility used primarily for law enforcement operations or administration without the written consent of the chief administrator
- Any detention facility, prison or jail
- Any courtroom, except that nothing in this section shall preclude a judge from carrying a concealed weapon or determining who will carry a concealed weapon in the courtroom
What's really cool about that article is this:

I guess the Utah legislature doesn't go weak in the knees at the sight of a man with a rifle slung over his shoulder.
Nah, they just didn't hit anybody cuz they pitied the fool...
I was able to hit a 12" steel plate at 180 yds off-hand 5 out of 10 times using the stock iron sights on my Mini-14 last weekend on my first mag through it since purchasing it (factory setting, no dialing in of the sights). The sights are kinda funky but I don't think it has an accuracy problem. I wouldn't want to bet my life on having to repeatedly hit 200 yd targets with it but at 100 yds I wouldn't be so skeptical.
Isn't that the standard excuse for poor shooting? Ranchers don't seem to have a problem hitting coyotes or prairie dogs with them and I doubt they'd be such a popular platform if they were as bad as you're making them out to be. I hate the legal crap imprinted on the barrels but I have yet to see a Ruger that had accuracy problems -- Ruger shooters yes, Ruger firearms not so much.
